When they got there the library was a dream library big, bold, and with lots of books my favorite. My eyes widen as we entered the room seeing the section of shelves with thousands of books in between. On top where the roof was a glass dome on top just like the greenhouse. With the dome help bring the natural light into the building showing the tiniest details the shelves had details of all types of animals frogs, deer, birds, and others. Books flying from all directions. While some to other students and some to different shelves to sit on either the top shelves or in one of the mini compartments that were inside the shelves.

My footsteps echo softly, the silence almost watching me. Then I see it. A door. Slightly open. A small plaque beside it. Library. Curiosity pulls me forward. I push the door open and step inside. The lights come alive. And I stop. The room is breathtaking. Tall shelves stretch across the walls, filled with books. Wooden steps and ladders are placed neatly for the higher racks. Near the large window, a raised platform holds a beautiful couch, touched by soft moonlight. The air smells of paper and wood.

She picked up the bag. She went to the library. The library had the particular quality of a Saturday morning room, the specific light of it, the angle of the Saturday morning sun through the windows that faced the direction the library's windows faced, the quality of light that was different from the kitchen windows and the bedroom windows and the study windows, that was the library's own light, the light she had been reading by and thinking in and using as the particular illumination of the room that had become hers.
