There are spirits within who whisper to travellers to try to get them lost inside so when the cave floods at night, the travellers drown and become ghosts themselves, adding to the whispers, growing the chorus of whispering voices,” explained Sprout theatrically. The Whispering Valley was a day’s journey from the manor, its name a relic of the eerie winds that echoed through its cliffs.
