The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and decay, and the eerie silence was punctuated only by the occasional drip of water echoing through the cavern. As she stepped inside, the darkness seemed to swallow her whole, the cave walls closing in around her like the maw of some great beast. The cave was a labyrinth of jagged rocks and treacherous pathways, lit only by the faint glow of bioluminescent fungi that cast an eerie green light.
