Alpha Titus stood at the entrance, a bouquet of moonflowers clutched in his hand, dewdrops still clinging to the petals. Those amber irises swept past the crowded hall and landed directly on me, not sparing Damian a single glance, as if his younger brother didn't exist. Alpha Titus, gone for three years, had just appeared without warning. Everyone had heard the rumors—brutal, cold-blooded, a wolf to be feared. But the man standing in the firelight tonight looked almost... gentle.

He's seen a handful of White Lotus witches in the past but it's the first time seeing someone with a half-finished scar. Lotus branding is the act of branding a White Lotus witch on the back of their shoulder with a lotus flower-designed branding iron, usually done like how a livestock is branded by number, heating up the metal stamp in flames and burning the skin. Witches think it's the same as being Christened. A lotus branding should never be halted, else it's considered a hex. Maybe that's why he's a siphoner. "Good evening, witches." He smiles at the both of them before having a seat. Hiro’s clearly uncomfortable, he takes note of that. If he sets the mood right, maybe he'll apologize.

It was in the middle of nowhere and the people were so nice. We had found a charming café called Moonlit corner. Walking in, we were seated by a host in a cute little booth in a corner. Leaning over to Nicolas's ear, I whispered, "this is a nice, secluded booth, we could make out here." Nibbling in his ear as I whispered this.

“I want the seven-petal lotus. Before I see the seven-petal lotus, I won’t start the treatment.” Carson quickly nodded. “The seven-petal lotus, no problem. Old Halbert, please bring the seven-petal lotus over.” However, Old Halbert was being cautious as he asked, “Mr., please excuse my rudeness, but before I retrieve the seven-petal lotus, can you tell this old man what illness is troubling Madam Yorke?”

Just stillness. Ahead, two figures stood. One in white. One in black. No faces. No weapons. No threats. But they radiated choice like a storm radiates lightning. The white one glowed with warmth—not soft, not sweet, but open. Like a door with no lock. The black one didn’t glow at all. It stood steady. Solid. Cold in its certainty. Azriel’s bare feet cracked the ash with each step. He felt the tension in his chest rise, but he didn’t stop walking. Didn’t flinch.

I was this close to slipping when something caught my eyes. It was too far off in the distance to really tell what it was, but if there was something that caught my eye, then it was definitely how it seemed to catch the light. If I was being honest, it looked a lot like sparkling white fur, and just when I thought things couldn't get more crazy, I was wowed. “Get up.” A voice whispered in my mind. “They are shadows and you are light. Get up now.” I looked up and the world around me cracked. One by one, the illusions of Hunter, Vivian and Lena disappeared. The moment the coast was clear, the skys and heavens began to morph. In no time, I was back in the clearing again.

As I took small bites of my meal, my mind wandered back to the book's descriptions. When breakfast was finally over, I excused myself politely and headed back to the garden. I retrieved the book from its hiding place and found a secluded spot where I could read in peace. The more I read, the more I realized how much had been lost to history. The white wolves were not the monsters they had been made out to be. They were beings of incredible power and kindness, who had only sought to live in harmony with others.

I whispered in a tear-choked voice. "In not a white wolf Athena, and you know that. I'm a type of greyhound wolf. We might be fast and our sight keen and we might be strong but the white wolves are stronger. You are royalty and I cannot take from you what isn't mine " she said which confused me a bit "What do you mean?" I asked confused. She reached into her shirt and pulled out a diamond locket. It was a white crystal. "Is that...is that a moonstone?" I asked surprised to see one. I had only ever heard of them

But as I looked closer, I realized that they were all filled with the same type of flower - the white lotus. I felt a sudden jolt of recognition, and my mind was flooded with memories from my past. I remembered a little girl who had given me a white lotus flower, and how it had made me feel special and loved. I had forgotten about that memory, but now it was coming back to me in vivid detail. As I touched the petals of the flower, I felt a sense of nostalgia wash over me. Why was this flower suddenly appearing in my life again? And what did it have to do with Sophia?

Zeus said to me. "I am not going to mate with a low level Omega that would be bad for my soon to be pack" I said to Zeus. Then quickly pushed him to the back of my mind hushing him up, all of a sudden all my senses were on high alert. I smelt a wolf, I came to a complete stop, and I looked around but couldn't see anyone around me. I slowly crept around to an opening in the woods, that's when I saw the most beautiful white wolf ever seen. she was just laying down beside the pond. Impossible I thought to myself I've never seen a white wolf no one would believe me. "I can not connect with her it's like there's no soul in her, no one to talk to" Zeus said.
