The Signet's Secret

The Signet's Secret

They asked for the lineage of the Southern Isles, the chemical composition of the crown’s coinage, and the specific dates of the Great Guild Wars. Julian didn't stumble. He answered with the rhythmic precision of a hammer hitting an anvil. When Lord Corvis tried to trip him up on the "Taxation Acts of the Second Era," Julian corrected him on the specific percentage of the silver-tithe, citing a ledger his father had kept in the cellar. "You speak of gold as if it were a person," the Duke of Westfall sneered, leaning forward. "Gold has a memory, Grace," Julian replied, his voice steady. "It carries the marks of those who handled it poorly and the shine of those who respected it. Just like a k

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

The ink on the book’s pages twisted, spinning like a tiny whirlpool. Then, out of the black ink, a single drop of gold floated up. It hung in the air, letting out a high, awful scream. “That’s him!” Gabe shouted. “That’s the soul of the Auditor!” The gold drop didn’t run. It stretched and grew into the shape of a tiny child, all gold. It looked just like any child, except its eyes were spinning clock faces.

Perfect Soulmates

Perfect Soulmates

- To be kings. Blake, rummaged through the old books in the library. He was once a bookworm, but he hadn't been there for a long time and the books were full of dust. He opens book after book, and leaves them piled up on the table, open in certain pages. Many talked about the Goldem pack, and parts of the king's family tree, but he couldn't find anything about the pack's origins. He looks at a shelf at the top, where there were many books that were once banned. Books of spells, of powerful werewolves, of professions and curses, and he has an epiphany. If the origin of the Golden Pack was linked to a profession, would he discover what he was looking for there? He pushes the ladders and climbs

Mated To An Untamed Alpha

Mated To An Untamed Alpha

And then, I found three different books, one was pitch color, another was burnt orange, and the last one was pure silver. I stared at the three books on the desk affectionately. If I had the time, I would have picked the three up by reading them all, but I must return back to my room before Talon’s arrival if I was not ready to witness his wrath again. My eyes shunned on the pure silver book. It looked extraordinary and unique. There was something attractive about it—maybe the color or the context. As I picked up the silver book, a chill ran down my spine. The pages were filled with cryptic messages and eerie illustrations. But one passage in particular caught my attention.

The Gilded Cage

The Gilded Cage

And so, I smiled—light, free, at peace. Hand in hand, we walked down the long, glowing path of my dream. I would be my own courage, my own armor. From now on, the sun shone brightly, and the road ahead was clear. … Epilogue 1: The Sterling family had fallen hard. Every crime they had committed over the years was exposed and thoroughly investigated, leaving them devastated. Their businesses were dismantled, accounts frozen, assets seized. Their stock plummeted like a free-fall, crashing straight to the bottom.

The Sigma Wolf

“I have Grimoires that list the different spells and incantations, and if that is what Nash is indeed searching for, he will try to find them, “ Kirill growled. “Did Gerald inform you about their location,” I questioned and he nodded. “They are in the storage building that is next to the infirmary and locked up tightly,” he answered then added, “I will go through the boxes tomorrow and see what I can discover.” I offered Lennox and my help but he shook his head. “The books are tainted and only individuals who carry a certain percentage of darkness can handle them,” he mumbled softly. “Then how did Gerald move them?” “He wore gloves,” he stammered, and I informed him that we could as well, gi

Revenge of Flame Luna

Revenge of Flame Luna

Inside: Not yet. I began scanning the shelves. Titles of all kinds filled the aisles. My hand slid across the spines at my eye level. A hard-covered green book smelling faintly of old paper drew my attention: The Origin of Elemental Sorcery. Then another—its gold embossed symbols of the four elements shimmering under the light: A History of Ignith, Hydros, Terragaia, and Glacius. Moving to the next shelf, I spotted a worn leather-bound book, edges frayed from overuse: Hybrid Wolves with Magical Signatures. And a thin one compared to the rest: The Forbidden Transition Between Elements.

he growled and out of nowhere Lilith was in front of me with another book in her hands. It was another big book, its cover was not normal, you can tell it by single glance that it was not written in this era. The pages were golden yellow and the cover was made of skin. Books before sixteenth century were used to have animal skin as their covers. Damien took the book from her hand and started flipping pages. The smell of old book hits my nostrils and it only confirmed my suspicions. He stopped after flipping twenty or so pages and turned the book towards me. There was a sketch, a drawing of a necklace on the right side of the book.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

He unlocked it and motioned to Lord Saknas to follow him. “You should find what you are looking for there.” The mage pointed toward a couple of shelves to his right, then left the stuffy and dimly lit room. “Now, let’s see if my suspicions are correct, my little Lily of the Valley.” Fred went through the books on the shelves, their titles hinted that they were all related to the Gottanlich family. ‘I guess that’s to be expected from one of the founding families.’ The title of one of the books intrigued him, he smiled.

Blood, Gold, and Silver

Blood, Gold, and Silver

I had to struggle to suppress a laugh. The Silver Myst was an urban legend, a pure silver wolf who showed up when things looked at their worst. He first appeared near four years ago, shortly after the war began, and has, supposedly, been seen numerous times since. It was always out of the corner of someone’s eye, or seen by a friend of a friend. Chris and the others were too old to believe in fairy tales.
