White Lotus Book Novels & Stories

I asked, keeping my voice low and dark. She nodded slowly, her tentative fingers reaching out to take the book back. I let her, releasing her waist just enough to let her turn the heavy parchment pages. She flipped through several chapters until she reached a highlighted section near the back, pointing a slender finger at a crude hand-drawn illustration before thrusting the book up toward my face. I tilted my head, scanning through the dense, archaic lines of text. blue Lotus. Ancient Lycan potion.

I could not help but wonder if the girl who once treated the dress like a precious relic was the same one who just trashed it without a second thought. The noise from the room faded, and I knew it was time to leave. I pulled out my phone and shot a quick text to my private investigator. It was time to find out what Jane was really up to. I walked into my house, numb, and my gaze was immediately drawn to the massive wedding portrait on the living room wall. Jane's smile, once a beacon of joy, then seemed to mock me. I slumped onto the couch, lighting one cigarette after another, waiting for the night to drag on.

The nurse asked the little girl to run and get the Luna to help her. The little girl ran to Alexi's office out of breath and practically crying that someone was hurt in the woods, and asked for Luna to help her. Alexi got up and let the little girl direct to where the injured woman was, only to see the nurse passed out on the dirt ground near the woods. Alexi bent down to see if the nurse was breathing. The nurse slowly took out her large syringe that was filled with silver mixed with Wolf's bane and stabbed Alexi in her neck with the syringe. Alexi fell, holding onto her neck, shoving the syringe away.

The Royal Family! It truly is heartbreaking knowing that the royal bloodline was wiped away completely, mercilessly. Had they still had a survivor, even a child, the bloodline would be restored. Staring directly into the eye of the King on the painting, I neared it. His eyes! I climbed up the ladder searching for the book which held information about The White Crescents. It was medium sized book but it had weight. A black book with white wolves on the cover. I placed it on the table and started skimming through the pages.

“Why don’t we give them a look? Just to see. No one has to know.” “Oh, I don’t think he’d like that. But . . . come to think of it . . . ” Her eyes suddenly lit up. “That’s actually a good reason to, isn’t it? Especially now, while he’s busy. Oh, maybe just a peek.” Mr. Pervis’s library was just down the hall. It was considerably smaller than Salem’s, so it didn’t take us long to find the ritual books. “There’s so many,” Loretta said, pulling a few off the shelf and flipping through them. “But they’re all so bloody confusing. Doesn’t he have any for apprentices?” She climbed a ladder to rummage through the higher shelves.

He took a deep breath, to calm his nerves and gave me a smile that was more sure this time around. I held his hand and dipped it into the bowl of water, and with a deep breath started the recital. “Blood to blood, earth to earth - by the power in me and with the moon and universe bearing me witness - I, Mica Silvers hereby hand over that bestowed unto me to Richard Mocco.” The moment I said the last word I felt something leave me with such a rush that it had me gasping. Suddenly, I felt…empty - and cold. This is it.

Her powers were waning, but her hatred was not. “You are the white wolf!” A moment of awe turned dark again. Alice was becoming unhinged. I needed to be free. “Lilith!” She yelled at me as if calling me a bad name. “Banish her back to hell!” From behind me, a lightning bolt flew by me and severed a cord, and then I sent another. Miriam dashed out of the way to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. “Wolves can not do magic!” Alice screeched in horror as her spells were neutralized. Now unbound, I cantered towards her. “Kill her!” She yelled to the black shadow outlining her body.

CHAPTER 15 - REVENGE "Oh! I forgot to say you'll need a phone! What if your new friends ask for your number" Anita said. "I saw them using it, I should have got one, I forgot!" Lotus replied and her eyes flashed blue on the table, a phone appeared. "Whoa! Cool magic, so where did this phone come from?" Anita asked. "My thoughts," she replied. "How can a phone probably come from your thoughts?" "Power of magic" Lotus replied and opened her right palm, a heap of ashes is right there.

Warmth encircled me and the welcoming scent of the ocean woke me from my slumber. I was in Justin's room. I looked over realizing we had both moved to the middle of the bed causing me to be a few inches away from him. Justin's hair was a mess sticking up every which way, though mine was probably worse.

She was gone, and all that remained were echoes. The prophecy notebook lay open on the floor beside me. The page she’d marked — the one she shouldn’t have read — stared up at me. When the daughter of blood meets the blade of devotion, one will rise and one will fall. Love will crown one, and death will claim the other. I wanted to tear the page out. Burn it. Shred it. But I couldn’t. Because the ink had already carved itself into my bones. I dragged in a breath and let my head fall back against the wall. The ceiling blurred. The edges of the room softened. Grief was a drug — slow, poisonous — and I was already half gone.
