Who Is The Black Wolf In Twilight Novels & Stories

The wolves surrounded him, ready to take his life as they were commanded not to leave any survivors except the Alpha's daughter. Then, two wolves burst from the shadows and suddenly started attacking the rogues. One was a huge black wolf, twice the size of all the other wolves, and the other was a brown wolf. The huge black wolf’s eyes gleamed red, symbolizing that he was an Alpha, but that wasn't what made the rogues fear him—the mark on the wolf's face made them recognize him as Alpha Kayden and without waiting, they all took to their heels.

“I’ll look toward to seeing you there. I wonder what kind of wolf you are. What’s the color of your coat?” “Gray,” I answer. “Yours?” He smiles broadly. “As black as midnight. But of course, I won’t be able to shift because of my legs. I lost my ability to shift. The only other black wolf I’ve ever met is Hector. That man truly reminds me of the old me, you know? We’re so similar.” Evan is a black wolf. I never even knew. We never got to shift when we met each other. Black wolves are relatively rare, which is why I guess Julius is so damn proud.

My voice retreated into my throat and I stood there, frozen as I faced two giant wolves: One white and one black, looking like my wolf. “You don’t love Dante,” The black wolf spat. “He used you and left you. Now that he knows that you have children for him, he wants you back. It is all lies and you know it. He is only using you to save his hide so that the counsellors don’t come after him…”

One second he's there, the next he's flying backward through the air, hitting a tree twenty feet away with a sickening crack. A massive black wolf stands between us. Easily twice the size of any wolf I've ever seen, with fur so dark it seems to absorb the moonlight. His shoulders are nearly level with my chest, even though I'm sitting. Muscles ripple beneath his coat as he moves, and when he turns his head slightly, I catch a glimpse of eyes I'd recognize anywhere. Stormy gray-blue, now edged with gold. Anton. The vampire doesn't even try to fight. He takes one look at Anton's wolf and bolts, disappearing into the trees.

Was this done on purpose so I could be with Zaire here? “Here,” she said, pulling me out of my thoughts. “It says that the great black wolf called Amoux is the most powerful wolf in the Black Moon Pack. He was not born, but cursed into a body.” she started reading, “cursed into a body. How does that happen? Aren’t wolves usually born with their humans?” “I don’t know, keep reading,” I replied, scooting to be closer to her.

As the chilling howl echoed, a powerful growl followed, vibrating with pure dominance and aggression. Summoning every ounce of courage left within me, I dared to open my eyes. What I saw made me gasp in astonishment and relief. Standing between the attacking rogue and I was a massive black wolf, his robust frame pulsating with raw energy and its fur gleaming under the pale moonlight. It was Lyon, the enigmatic Alpha. I could recognize him even in the dark. He was so huge and so powerful that no match of his was in this world. The aura that oozed out of him was otherworldly.

“Yeah. As one of the wolves was completely black. Kind of like Vox. Another wolf was reddish brown which reminded me of Ash and the third one was gray like Volt. The only wolf I couldn’t pinpoint among the four was the one that was black and had white paws.” At the mention of black fur and white paws do I move to tense again. For there was only one wolf like that and he was the Alpha of another pack. The Shadowridge Pack. Aaron. Aaron Duncan. But why would Tori be dreaming of Aaron. Was Aaron one of the wolves we were fighting or was he one of the wolves helping us? My mind now quick to think of Jake and how Jake was going to handle the news.

A smile made its way onto my face as I thought about my few hours at the house. “Everything and everyone is amazing. Thank you so much Alpha Jamie! Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am that you welcomed me into your pack.” I told him sincerely but he dismissed it immediately. “I am glad that you accepted my invitation. You are a very strong wolf Allison. I have been doing some research about black wolves and I have come up with some information that may shed some light. One of my books here says that every Century a black wolf is born, the wolf is known as the Shadow Wolf since it is pure black. The Shadow wolf possesses certain abilities and gifts bestowed upon by the Moon Godde

But then, out of nowhere, a massive wolf leaped out from the shadows, blocking our path. It was unlike any wolf I had ever seen—its fur was a deep, unnatural black, and its eyes glowed with a sickly yellow light that made my blood run cold. This wasn’t just a regular wolf. It was one of them. The wolf snarled, baring its teeth in a menacing display as it advanced on us. Quinton shifted instantly, his own wolf bursting forth in a show of strength and dominance. But even he seemed hesitant, the sheer size and power of the black wolf making it clear that this was no ordinary opponent.

His eyes burned a deep, blood-red, and his fangs gleamed sharp and white. Paul scrambled off me, falling back in fear, while Caio also recoiled in terror. I heard Dany shouting at the wolf to back away, but the beast kept advancing. His eyes promised blood, and I knew he was going to kill us all. Because he was the Black Wolf. The same one who had massacred his own pack. Marius Blaine.
