Ex-husband Last Regret

Ex-husband Last Regret

though she knew I had feelings for someone else, she still held onto a glimmer of hope, believing that if she loved me wholeheartedly, one day I would turn around and notice her. Even if I just played along, I had never truly cared about her. James Scott had told her she was like an ostrich, burying her head in the fantasies she had woven, unaware that it was a barren desert all along. She couldn't warm my heart, nor could she save herself. This time, she chose to rise above it all and chase her own dreams. When I arrived at the civil affairs bureau, it was already eleven o'clock. I immediately spotted a woman in a flowing sea-green dress. They entered the service hall in silence, with almo

he said. “Bled?” Joseph said. “As incredulous as it seems, the widow was untouched,” Oliver said. “I can’t figure that one out.” “I can,” Joseph said proudly. After a long silence, and when he was sure he had their full attention, he continued. “The old couple knew who she was, although I don’t think she knows that they know. She’s the talk of Wichita Falls territory. Turns out she’s a spoiled socialite from Boston who married some rancher by proxy on a whim and, as luck would have it, the day she got to town was the day he was found dead on the side of the road.” He paused a minute to emit a chuckle while adding, “They call her the Paper Widow because she never saw more than a piece of

Married To The CEO After Divorce

Married To The CEO After Divorce

She had always wanted to touch his grown beards but the guy had never allowed her to as much as touch his wrist. “One more thing, don’t ever lay your hands on me. ” he looked at her coldly . Vivian pouted her mouth “why don’t you start to accept things. I am your wife because you are a widower already. I have become your wife because Susan is dead and probably buried somewhere. why can’t you get that in to your head?” Widower? That word hasn’t crossed his mind ever since the news about Susan’s supposed death but now, he felt like strangling Vivian and killing her for real.

I really like this story. It’s very interesting. Ethan will far in love with her and vice versa. Her evil mom that has never cared for her. Now she will have her revenge with Mark and her step sister Vivian. Her unloving mom that dumped her dad, because he wasn’t rich or wealthy.

I like the story so far. I like that the writer doesn't add useless characters that have nothing to do to the story. although sometimes I feel like it misses some explanation to understand a little better, although is rarely, still makes you wonder how it happened. anyhow it's a good story.

Magnolia

Magnolia

Her words were clipped and full of distaste. ‘A widow, then.’ Daniel eyed her for a moment. “May I ask how your husband passed away?” “He died in a riding accident.” “And where are you from, Lady De Solange?” ‘Is this an interrogation?’ Magnolia sighed. “Kerika, Your Grace.” She held his blue gaze for a while before asking. “May I ask you a question as well, my lord?” “Of course.” “How did I get here?” “You fainted from the pain in the forest, and I brought you to the castle. I had a doctor heal your wound, using magic. He said that I have saved your life and that you wouldn’t have lasted much longer.” Daniel boasted.

Stolen By The Heartless Mafia Lord

Stolen By The Heartless Mafia Lord

Vivian politely made way for then to come in. "I'm Janice and this is my husband Gregory." "Vivian, pleasure to meet you." She shook hands with both of them. As Vivian led them in to take their seats, she couldn't help but notice the woman's incredibly nice figure. But it wasn't unexpected, such a fierce woman would indeed have a body to go with it, she had heard from Camilla that the woman was no ordinary wife behind her husband, but a fierce mafia woman who had dominated the southern territory of the underworld, though Vivian wasn't very certain about how the people in the underworld ran their things, she was sure that meant the woman was a big deal.

I love it. The lead female is plain stupid, though there are so many clues, to know truth yet she and Sebastián deserves better women with at least a little amount of intelligence.I am waiting for a moment when she realizes she not betrayed the who truly loved but also supported her family killer.

The Billionaire Replace Bride

The Billionaire Replace Bride

"The assistant to Damien Wolfe? What is she to you?" Widow's lips curled into a cold smile beneath her mask. "She is a stain on my family's honor. She carries the blood of my husband's betrayal, and I will not rest until she is erased from this earth. She is leverage, a liability. And she is alive. That, in itself, is an insult." The Broken's fingers tightened on the table. "Elena is not your concern." "She is everyone's concern," Widow shot back. "And I will have what I want."

The Second Wife's Revenge

The Second Wife's Revenge

The attempts to understand by putting language around it. I thought about Sienna's book and what it had meant to people. The letters she'd received. The women who'd left because of it. I thought about Grace saying book to Robert. About Daniel's first smile. About Flynn's letter burning in the kitchen sink. About Morrison saying I've been waiting for you Alessandra. About Catherine Ashford writing letters she never sent, blackmailed into silence, dying while her daughter grew up alone. About the story that deserved to be told. Properly. Completely. In the only voice that could tell it.
