When Lucien’s assistant forwarded the photos to him, his eyes froze the moment they landed on the words: Mate-Bond Termination. His hands trembled as he tapped to open the image, and the second he saw that familiar face in the photo, it felt like he’d been struck by lightning. Then came the follow-up message from his assistant. “Luna Mia’s flight was the one that crashed…” Lucien staggered back a step before collapsing to the floor, the phone slipping from his grip. He could not believe that I, who was fine just that morning, was gone now?

Caren snarled at Amber. When the crowd started disappearing, Caren said a few words, then put her arm around me. “Oh, by the way, Amber. You should do something about that rash on your face. It’s disgusting.” I looked up to see what Caren was talking about. Caren has been practicing a lot lately, and it’s paid off. Amber’s face had broken out in hives. Her thick make-up wasn’t even able to hide it. Amber looked at her friends, who grimaced. She ran off when she saw their faces. It was pretty bad.

She sent a text to her friend on their group page. C: Why aren’t you here Maddison? I feel like I’m going to lose it. M: I managed to excuse myself, cramps are the new excuse. J: Tell me what’s going on, let’s make jest of these people. C: There’s a snotty man laying beside me. Expensive shoes and all that but no class. M: Take a picture!

Zia Stephanie's POV The sunshine hanged brightly at the horizon. Beads of sweat formed on my temple, slowly dripping because of the heat. I guess, today was one of those boring days. I looked sideways as I gently yawned. My eyes sparked when a thunder stuck on my mind. The corner of my lips turned up. "A girl just jump in front of my eyes!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, grabbing the t-shirt's hem of the midnight-eyed boy beside me. I looked at him as his expression looked so dull as the color of his face drained out.

I am Azura. The only goddess of two elements. Fire and water. Ooops...... Right introduction, wrong timing. **************** "This is not gonna be a great day". This was all I could say to myself. Somehow deep down, I could just feel that something huge was gonna happen today. It was the same gut feeling I woke up with the day I lost my parents to a ghastly car accident. I was a hundred and one percent sure, that crazy things are gonna happen today.

Azure was a good sport, joining in the joke and even making fun of himself. Zeke and Azure laughed heartily as they lounged on the couch in the cabin. Zeke had playfully teased Azure about his muscular build and rough exterior, claiming that massage was his weakness. Azure blushed deeply, feeling a mix of embarrassment and pleasure from Zeke's comment. Despite feeling a bit exposed, they were all happy and content in each other's company.

Mentally exhausted and depressed, Damian fell silent after the first hour. His knowledge of jokes was severely lacking. No matter what he did, the cyborg could not meet his party members’ standards. It was too difficult to be a clown. “It’s in the delivery,” Zen chuckled, patting Damian on the back. “Sometimes people find others funny when they aren’t intentionally trying to be. Just be yourself.” The solid advice lifted Damian’s mood a little, and the two nerds chatted, exchanging what they knew to update the gamer guide while travelling to Red Hood’s house.
