Wild A Book Novels & Stories

It wasn’t every day I got to see the Savage himself at one of these races. I tilted my head skyward, spotting rows upon rows of werewolves lining the rooftops of the buildings–the onyx sky dappled with the brilliant glow of their eyes. It was a kaleidoscope of color as they peered around, leaving warped, mystical shapes in their wake. My attention snagged toward a woman standing a few people to our left, raising her candy-red blouse and flashed her chest toward the bikers. Her shrill voice carried over the crowd despite the noise as she shouted, “Savage! Hey Savage! Look here, baby!”

I shall sleep often from now on; my body needs all the rest it could get. I can’t sleep again. I just woke up. “What to do now?” My eyes landed at the closed book on my table. It’s the book from the library that is about the town of Emberton. I haven’t found anything informative other than the map and the founders of the town. Maybe I should just head out? Nope. Not a good idea. Being outside is too risky. I don’t want another wolf pouncing at me or me unintentionally killing them with my blood.

As burning embers rained down and the fire continued to rage up and across the walls of the room the huge brothers started shifting into their huge sandy-coloured wolves form Caleb snarled with terrifying stillness. “Five Lakes…declares war. Now.”

"Very well, then. I will be needing you to come back three days before your journey. There's need to bath you clean and keep you protected of the dangers and evil of the wild." "Aunt Lyra," my voice was barely above a whisper. "Could you tell me about the wild, please? What you think I should know." She heaved a sigh, her lips pursed before speaking. "The wild is a beast. A roaring beast, there's every need to protect you from its fangs and claws." she explained. "There's a legend that says it is the home of souls that hell had let lose as lessons for others. They crave blood for survival and the Kingdom has been able to keep them at base with the offenders, serving them as offerings."

~Nick~ The name’s Nick Gracen, but most call me Lightning. I’m the local prez of the Wild Ridge MC Club. It’s a title that carries weight, respect, and a hell of a lot of responsibility. I looked around the clubhouse, a place that had seen more action than most could handle. The air was thick with the scent of oil, leather, and a hint of whiskey—a comforting blend that felt like home. The brothers were scattered around, some tinkering with their bikes, others deep in conversation about our latest shipment.

Xandar opened his eyes and tried not to make a sound as he looked up at Lucianne, who was holding her book in one hand. She was already halfway through it. He peeked at the cover, and realized that it was a book on the neuroscience behind wolf-behavior.

Charlotte was sitting quietly on her bed after the session with Matt. Her conversation with the Beta kept echoing in her head. “Alpha Azraiel is a Trueblood…!” The white wolf is Azraiel…...Azraiel is the white wolf…. She suddenly sat up straight and went to the pile of books beside her closet. The first book was about shifting, so she kept it aside….second was the same…..but the third… There it is…. She picked the third book and opened the index. Moving her index finger down the page she stopped when she found what she was looking for. Quickly flipping to the page number she climbed into her bed and leaned back.

Aiden took it from her before she choked on that, "Can someone fill me in now?" "Right." Willow rubbed her eyes again as she fully wakes up, "I gave Amira the white book you saw. It's what I go to when I need guidance and wisdom for things yet to come." Willow looked over to Amira as she finally gathered herself, "Did she help you?" "A warning would have been nice." Amira said with a glare at Willow, "If I wanted a vacation to a grassy field with a Goddess and her dogs, I'd have let you know."

Just muttered, “Feel free to browse.” I nodded and wandered. The silence was thick. Peaceful. I ran my fingers along the spines—mysteries, war history, sci-fi. None of it felt right. I turned a corner and found myself in a crooked, narrow aisle. A handwritten label above the shelf read: “Folklores, Myths & Things Best Left Alone.” Something about it made me shiver. I reached out and picked a worn, black-spined book: “The Blood and Bond of the Wild.”
