Alpha's Mage

Alpha's Mage

The said shortcut being a dirt road that stretched through the forest. Since it was getting late I agreed. So B and I took the dirt road and walked carefully. All of sudden we heard a howl. Now you would think that, yeah its forest, it wouldn't be unusual if there were wild animals but trust me in all the years I've lived in that place I've never heard or seen any wild animals at least not the ones that can howl. We were shit scared anyway. We started walking fast when suddenly a huge animal blocked our path. We started walking backwards. AS I looked up I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a humongous wolf! his eyes were burning red. Yes, burning! red!

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

The Unwanted Prince

The Unwanted Prince

William glanced over his shoulder to his partner and smiled. He then cued Urdin to speed up to a gallop, the surroundings gradually turning to a blur as the wind pelted his skin. The sound of his Urdin's hooves beating against the dirt road was music to his ears as he felt rather liberated riding in the great outdoors. William glanced over his shoulder at Moonshine which kept up with him, rushing head to head against Urdin as his lips tugged to a grin. There wasn't a need to rush but he might as well make it to the town close to the border at this pace before letting them rest.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

Her hands clawed at my shoulders, tearing my skin. But I heard a gasp. She was breathing. A hissing noise filled the clearing. Marianne let out a cry of pain and choked again. I snarled, lifting her higher. There was a burst of movement, and Laz broke through the trees. How did he know? I didn’t waste time thinking about it as Laz joined us. Billy let out a short bark and positioned himself a few feet away. Laz charged and leaped onto Billy’s back, using him as a springboard to snap at the spirit choking Marianne again.

Kiss Me, Wild One

Kiss Me, Wild One

Lucky him; he looks like he had a lot of fun risking his life like that. No wonder he has been nicknamed The Wild One. "Eva.... Eva!" I heard June's voice over the applause of the people in the YouTube video. "What the heck? What are you doing?" Before I could get the chance to answer, June walked over to where I was sitting on the couch and snatched my tablet from my hands. She looked at the screen for just a bit before turning an incredulous look my way. "Really, Eva? I can't believe you're still watching these extreme sports videos again."

This is another book from Dally that I'm definitely going to be rereading! Dally has once again proven to be such a great writer. Laughter, tears, drama, a little comedy here and there... This book had it all! it definitely deserves more attention than it is getting!

Destined By The Moon Goddess

Destined By The Moon Goddess

The night sounds were fading with the night and the crescent moon could barely be seen in the light grey sky that was threatened by the invasion of the sun. We got there and waited. After a while, we heard a howl; the signal from Miles and Stiles. We quickly transformed, joining the howl and stimulating prey in the woods to run out of their hiding places. I and Bridget got into action, chasing after the game in a gathering manner. Bridget's wolf, a golden brown wolf with brown eyes and great speed, sped up on the game, but my wolf was faster, a thing of envy to Bridget while we were still undergoing training.

THE REVENGE OF THE WHITE WOLF

THE REVENGE OF THE WHITE WOLF

I hid behind a tree, shifted, and quickly put on my clothes. I walked towards the shed at the edge of the grounds where shovels and other necessities were kept and broke it open. I grabbed a shovel and walked back. “I'm Aries, the Moon goddess's White Wolf, and I've come to bury a dear friend," I introduced, looking from one face to the other to let them know I could see them. Without waiting for their response, I began to dig. It wasn't easy digging, seeing that I had to dig 6 ft. At one point I got exhausted; I was hungry and thirsty.

Omega (Book 1)

Omega (Book 1)

"There's only one way to find out." Slowly, like skilled foot soldiers planning an ambush, Wilkes moved eastwards, burrowed through a bush and got to where he felt gave him the best shot. Trisha, too, did the same thing and whistled. Wilkes, too, whistled in return and at once, they both burst out of the bush and attacked the ghouls.

Moon Touched

Moon Touched

It fought, snarling, trying to tear free, but the vines tightened, glowing with green fire. “Hold it!” I shouted, standing My vision swam, but I didn’t wait for it to clear. I charged again, the blade gleaming with moonlight. My blood was singing — not the beautiful kind of singing, but the old, wild rhythm that wolves know when death comes close. I leapt, drove the blade into the creature’s throat, and twisted. Its roar turned into a wet gargle. Gaia slammed her palms together, and the vines pulled. The ghoul was torn apart like rotten cloth, pieces of it flung into the chasm below.

to return. "It’s beautiful," Kael whispered, his voice cracking. He stood by the fire, the heat reflecting in his eyes—eyes that were no longer searching for a HUD or a thermal overlay, but simply trying to perceive the texture of reality. "It’s... it’s not a script. Look at the way the wind moves its fur. That’s not a loop." The villagers of Evergreen had fallen back into the shadows of their shipping-container homes, spears leveled but shaking. To them, the "Steel-Ghost" was gone, but the Wild was an even older terror.

My body acts on instinct as it leaps from branch to branch, trying to avoid getting hit. My eyes search frantically for Maggie. I can’t feel her presence any more and part of me thinks that may be a good thing. The other part of me is worried. It means that she is gone. I notice her being dragged off by her ankle as my two packs fight wolf after wolf. Just finished reading this for the second time. It is such a great, well-written book! It is a wonderful departure from the "normal" werewolf story. It is truly one of a kind. I also especially love the raw emotions and character development.

I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author
