Wild Novels & Stories

As children Dyce and I were told not to engage with the “wild ones' ' who supported themselves without the need for “royal civility'. Those people were aimless wanderers who did nothing but take. When they saved me, I didn’t see my rescue quite so clearly. I was angry and took it out on them. I had lost my family and my home. A stranger emerges from the depths of the forest, a rogue wolf with an air of defiance that sets Tyler's fur on edge. The rogue's aggressive stance and challenging gaze set the stage for a clash of wills, a battle for dominance amidst the ancient trees.

I had no other choice, I had hoped that it wouldn’t come to this. The wolves couldn’t enter the circle and they were hurting themselves trying to get in. I focused all my strength, all my power into one final spell. “Brenna bikkja.” I screamed with everything in me as the blue flames erupted from my hands and enveloped me with such a fury that Sabine started burning both on the inside and the outside. She screamed with such ferocity that the two other witches stepped out of the circle as they tried to get away from the flames.
