She told everyone that Kira had to make up imaginary friends while she was in the woods just so she could cope with the loneliness. She had managed to convince every one with this story, except of course for Kira. She has been almost twelve years old when her mum had left her in-front of the church that night. The memory was so clear that it hurt, but mother had promised her that it was for the best, and even now in as much as it was different being here, she was sure now that her mother had been right all those years ago. And for that she missed her even more .

The forest of the Nightshade territory smelled of rain-soaked pine and wildflowers, a scent that twisted through Lila Winters’ chest like longing. She moved silently between the towering oaks, each leaf crunching beneath her boots echoing in the darkness. The world of the Nightshade Pack was ancient, filled with rituals and unspoken rules—but tonight, Lila felt a recklessness she could no longer deny.

The trip to the Sundown Timberland was full of risks. Aveline, Killian, Hazel, Liam, and their band of warriors explored misleading territory, their faculties on tall caution. The discussion developed overwhelming with an onerous quiet, the dynamic colors of the Whispering Woods blurring into a quieted palette of grays and browns as they wandered forward from recognizable domain.

I can feel his erection pressed against my ass, I turn to face him, we lean into each other but a flash of movement catches both of our attentions and we turn and look down to our right. Using our enhanced wolf visions we watched as an unknown figure leap from tree top to tree top and I mindlink Kavi to cloak his scent and I do the same and we step into the corner of the balcony and watch. The figure stops at the base of a tree and looks around as if checking to make sure there's no one around, but not once did he or she look up, we then watched as the person took something from their pocket and begin to sprinkle along the tree lines, what the hell? I mindlink Alpha Kizmet, I mean Dustin an

she turned her eyes towards Dustin. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” He shook his head sadly, “I have seen ghosts and know about them.” “That wasn’t why I was acting strange,” Ava spoke up. “Last night I saw wolf-like creatures wandering in the woods of my home.” “What do you mean, wolf-like?” Dustin asked with a bit of quiver in his voice. “They are much larger than any normal wolf.” She shook her head. “Plus, they’re only coyotes in the forest.”

She pounded her chest lightly. "Kate, are you sure he is Elijah's son and my stepson? Can he go suggesting blind dates and double at that? I don't even know what that means for sure," Kelly turned to Kate. Kate just bit her lips, but they still cracked in her suppressed smile. She knew what Nick was talking about. They have been thinking about it, but they couldn't bring the topic out until today. They were planning for a weekend getaway. They were going to visit a place to enjoy the lovely view of mountains turning colorful due to tree leaves that turn to different colors. Maple trees turn red, Ginkgo trees turn yellow, while pine trees and other evergreens stay lush and green, making them

I whisper hoarsely, my voice barely a breath against the overwhelming silence. The forest seems to close in on me, the once-comforting darkness now a suffocating void. I look up, hoping to see the familiar faces of my family, but instead, a low, menacing growl emerges from the depths of the woods. My heart pounds in my chest as a figure begins to materialize through the gloom. A large, black wolf steps into view, its eyes glowing a haunting blue. Its coat is sleek and glossy, a stark contrast against the dark backdrop of the woods. A white diamond-shaped tattoo gleams on its forehead, catching the faint light and casting eerie shadows.

“Why? You have no appointment. It’s busy here.” “Yeah?” she pouted a bit, thinking over it for a moment. “Eh, what about that guy? The guy who’s obsessed with playing computer games? Is he working here at the moment?” She had a bit of suspicion of that guy she was talking about, Oswald. He looked like he knew a lot about computers and technology whatever he does in his life. Or maybe Theo hired people from the outside? “They’re out of town, I’m the only one currently here.” Yohan was a bit of a cold person but Selene wasn’t fazed.

"I hate this. I hate every second that you aren't behind the stone walls of Kharos." "The stone walls are where the traitors live," she reminded him softly. "Out here, at least we know who the enemies are." They moved into the deep woods. The Whispering Woods earned its name from the way the wind moved through the silver-leafed birch trees, creating a sound that mimicked human voices. As they pushed deeper, the air grew colder, and the vegetation began to change. The vibrant greens of the forest floor gave way to sickly, translucent whites and deep, bruised purples.

The tips of her ears and tail had hints of brown in them. "Luke? What in the hell is happening to me?" Willow's POV... I woke in a sweat as my nightmares were starting to feel more and more real. I got up and walked out onto the porch. The cold air felt amazing. My body was on fire and it was tingling. I felt like something was crawling on me. No not on me but inside me. I looked out trying to calm myself when I saw Jim come flying out of the house.
