Raven POV So, this is the Top Warrior from the Opal River pack. I don't even know his name and yet he calls me to the front to show me "basic moves'. If only he knew how well trained I actually am then he wouldn't be choosing to embarass himself right now. As far as I'm concerned his ignorance needs to be taught a lesson. Riven had argued with me about it on the drive over. "I go in with you," he said. "That's not up for discussion." "If you go in with me, he won't say what he actually came to say," I said. Mason rolled his eyes. "Oh, that." He huffed a sigh. "It's nothing to worry about," Alex reassured me. "One of our rangers was clipped by a silver tip and had to be taken to the infirmary. We caught the perpetrator trying to skip town, but he won't be coming back, that's for sure." There was a gruffness to Alex's voice that chilled and thrilled me at the same time.

He was constantly hearing its voice inside his head, warning him to be watchful of the boy. None of it made any sense to Ranger until he began to realize just who the boy really was.
