“You’re thinking about war.” Brie didn’t deny it. “The Draynor could end the Dawlya,” she said softly. “Not slowly. Not surgically. Completely.” She lifted her gaze to the sky, imagining it darkened with wings. “They have no dragons. No air superiority. No real defenses against coordinated dragon fire. We could burn every stronghold, every council hall, every ritual site they have. End a war that’s lasted longer than most histories remember.” Max remained silent, but his attention sharpened.

The seam pulsed. It did not ripple outward like instability. It tightened. Like a string drawn taut. I stood on the western ridge and felt it hum beneath my feet. Something had aligned. I did not know that she was playing. I only knew that the barrier responded. “Go,” I ordered. Several of my trusted dragons leapt into the sky, spreading toward the marked thin points along the pine break and cliff edge. I waited. The wind grew still. Then — a flare. Not visible to mortal eyes.

"But I'm going to find out. And until I do, you belong to me." Saoirse’s hands curled into fists in the horse’s mane. She would play his game. She would be his mute, stupid servant. She was the Last Dragon. He was the Viper. And he had just invited his own destruction into his home.

While there are some Dragons that aren’t particularly good, most Dragons are known for their Honor. Some disasters, such as a Hurricane could be caused by a Dragon trying to protect the ocean from another Dragon. The same could be said about Earth Dragons. Apparently, forest fires could develop if another Dragon attacks and the Earth Dragon is trying to protect the land. With all the different explanations given, I felt that maybe Dragons should remain in this world. It wasn’t just Dragons that had to protect the earth from other Dragons, there were other supernatural creatures that wanted to cause disorder. After reading what I did, I had to do everything I could to keep myself from dying.

Powering on the laptop took a lot longer than I expected, and then I got to researching. Bonding- the God, Dalion, wanted to give more protection to the creatures that he created by binding two people’s souls to each other. This is an unbreakable connection to enhance the power that is given to the Mythicals. In this connection the mark changes to show what dragon was bonded to one another. If a Mythical somehow bonds with a non-Mythical, The mark evolves into a dragon that curls itself around the shadow of a human. Slamming the laptop shut, I huff out a breath and wonder what the hell I just read. Unbreakable? What does that mean? I’m stuck with this random guy for my whole life?

Dragon sat with Jenny and her triplets around a small fire, its flames dancing gently and casting shifting shadows across their faces. Jerry sat beside Jackson, with Jakiri next to them. Towering over them, Dragon, with his fiery red eyes and commanding presence, exuded an aura that kept everyone on edge. Finally, there was Jenny. Jerry looked up at Dragon with a curious smile and asked, “You’ve told us a lot about werewolf customs, but there’s one question that has always fascinated me. What’s the story of the mate? And how does a werewolf find their destined partner?”

As they stood, Willow looked over the dragon. “I think that is a great idea. We should date, then find our way to being man and wife.” Willow said, walking into the living room. She placed the dragon on a shelf that hung over her desk. Quinn knew that she hadn’t put much there because that was her spell-working desk. It warmed his heart to see her putting it in a place of honor. He had to double-take when he thought the dragon moved. “You would like to go out with me?” Quinn smiled brightly at her. He had a look of shock on his face when he looked at her. Willow giggled again at the face he was making.

Apollo asked confused. “He is her start and her finish. He is the only reason the gold dragon exists. If Rosalie was marked she would be the pure gold dragon. A dragon said to have the power of the heavens and a heart as pure and sweet as an angel. Her life starts with his touch. She will never die as long as Asrar never dies. His touch is what got the gem awoken in her so she could use its gifts. It also awoke his gifts for he is an elemental dragon or spirit dragon as we like to call them.” She spoke cutting the image and walking back to Charles. He wrapped her up again holding her close. “He has a prophecy that states he can heal the golden dragon even from death.” “How is any of this goo

His most trusted men had turned against him and he hadn't seen it coming; he should have known but his attention had been stolen by another matter altogether. Zarek had dreamed of his mate. He had made a connection with her and knew she was near his territory. Dragons could feel their life mate when he/she came near them and had vivid dreams of that person. Her face was always blurred but he could make out her body, a body that attracted his attention. She was a mere five foot three but was built lean with all the right curves in all the right places. Her hips were made to bear children and her body was womanly, sensual and ripe.
