He got Wilma to send her a bouquet of her favorite flower, roses. "The flowers are gorgeous." Meredith took a sniff at the bouquet. Wilma chuckled and said, "Mister Charlie picked each flower by hand, of course, it's gorgeous."

That faithful moment that changed her and her sister’s life forever. Rie dried her face using the towel hanging on her shoulder and then walked out of the bathroom. She weakly sat down on the bed. She no longer knew what was happening. Rie was still drinking tea made of flax seeds every night. Flax seed was one of the major ingredients for a sleeping potion.

It was a beautiful thing that had caught my eyes and refused to let go. Now, I look at it and there is no life left in it. The cluster of wildflowers and their delicate colorful petals have withered and turned a sickly brown colour. The leaves that were once a vibrant green have lost their luster, drooping and curling in on themselves as if they can no longer bear the weight of the flowers. The petals, once so delicate and colorful, now look as if they have been drained of their life force, clinging to the wilted stems like a desperate cry for help.

As soon as Natalie put away her phone, she glanced up and saw Marcus approaching on his crutches. “You’re tending flowers every day, not going out at all? Don’t you plan to finish the task?” He sat on the nearby bench, hesitating before adding, “Don’t you want to compete for the position?” One question after another. She smiled softly, plucked a flower between her fingers, and handed it to him. “Master, look at this flower. It’s beautiful now, but once held in someone’s hand, it will wilt within two days.” Marcus studied her for a long moment, then lowered his head to accept the flower. His voice was hard to read. “That’s its fate, and also its blessing. No one can change it.”

The letter didn't have a header and it didn't say from who it was either. It's the wind, can't you hear it? The sound is melodic, almost a whisper. Little by little, the voice turns brittle. Drop after drop, the tears don't cease to stop. The tune itself surrounds her, and like a spell her thoughts drown in the well. A soft murmur caresses her petals that are so thin, the light in her eyes slowly turning dim. The sigh of defeat makes the whistling howls of the wind freeze. Everything stops just as the rose falls.

There's a heaviness here that doesn't belong, an oppressive weight hanging over everything like a thick blanket. I take a few slow steps forwards, looking more closely at the meadow. Some of the wildflowers are beautiful, their petals bright amongst the grass, but others are brown and wilted. A few are almost black around the edges, their petals curled inwards and their stems sagging towards the ground.

I knew what those flowers meant. Gentian: hopeless love. Wisteria: living for love, dying for love, obsessed with love but never achieving it. Two cold, inappropriate flowers to give as a gift. It was truly impressive how Susan managed to pick these two. "No," I said coldly, then turned and walked away.

She shrank back slightly before forcing herself to look pitiful. "You have no idea how terrible I've been feeling," Lily said weakly. "The only thing keeping me going was thinking about you. Without you here, I didn't even want to take my medicine…" Louis's dark expression eased just a little. Noticing this, Lily pressed a hand to her forehead and leaned toward him as if she was about to faint. Carissa rolled her eyes. Snapping back to his senses, Louis shoved Lily away and coldly said, "We found a badly mutilated body by the lake. Rena is dead. At my and Rena's home, I found your fur. Did you have anything to do with Rena's death?"

After a brief silence, detective Jones broke the silence and asked "what do you think maria?“ “About what?” “This, of course!” detective Jones said increasing his tone. “Calm down partner. Anyways, I think we're dealing with a nasty serial killer that has an obsession with flowers” Maria joked. “It's not just that. But wait, I think am beginning to get the pieces, according to the woman, a white rose represents chastity and purity, now a blood stain on it would mean what?
