SHADOWS OF THE COVENANT

SHADOWS OF THE COVENANT

And it was also just three people at a table doing necessary work together, and someone had brought food, and the room had the quality that rooms got when everyone in them was pulling toward the same thing. They got the documentation ready by the second hour of the morning. Sixteen copies, each one carrying the weight of everything they had built since the day Aldric had stopped completing his mission and started building something else instead. He looked at the stack on the table and thought about the lower archive and the eleven pages and the cold. Then he picked up the first copy and went to wake the first rider.

Shadows in Arms

Shadows in Arms

"Wherever you are comfortable." Nowhere in this space felt comfortable. The penthouse was massive, decorated in the same minimalist style as his office. Everything was expensive, angular, and designed to intimidate. I perched on the edge of a leather couch that probably cost more than my annual salary. Declan moved to the bar, pouring a second glass. "Whiskey?" "I do not drink whiskey." "You do tonight." He crossed the space between us, holding out the glass. "Trust me." I took it because refusing felt like admitting weakness. The liquid burned going down, but the warmth that followed was oddly steadying.

THE SHADOW LUNA

THE SHADOW LUNA

And on her head sat a silver circlet, the mark of a Luna. The mark that should have been Lyra's. As Lyra watched, unable to move, unable to breathe, unable to look away, Marcus leaned down and kissed Isla. Long and deep. The kind of kiss that spoke of love. Of belonging. Of years together. The pack cheered. They raised their glasses. They celebrated. Two small children, twins by the look of them, ran up and hugged Marcus and Isla's legs. A boy and a girl, both with blonde hair like Marcus. They were laughing, excited by the party.

Gentle Curves (Dangerous Curves 4)

Gentle Curves (Dangerous Curves 4)

“I’m a paying customer.” “He’s getting that to go, Spider,” Mirrie said, ignoring Shane completely. “No, he’s not, Spider.” Mac eyed the pastries piled up in front of him. “Wow. Those smell good. Fresh-baked?” “Yep,” Spider said. “I made ‘em myself this morning. You want something?” “Sure do,” Mac said. “Maybe a few croissants? And a blueberry muffin and… ummm, let’s see… those white chocolate chip cookies look amazing.” He glanced at Mirrie, remembering how much she loved sweet stuff. “Three of those.”

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

“One must willingly surrender their greatest love. Only then will the relics unleash their true power to destroy the shadow for good.” Before anyone could respond, the ground quaked violently. The shadow entity, larger and more menacing than before, surged into the chamber. Its smoky tendrils lashed out, forcing the group into a defensive stance. “I grow tired of this game!” the shadow roared, its voice echoing like a storm. “Give me the relics, or I will consume your very souls.” Wickham stepped forward, his weapon raised. “You’ll have to go through me first!” The shadow laughed darkly. “Bravery without power is foolishness.” It lunged, a tendril wrapping around Wickham’s arm and flinging h

HOLD ME, EX-CONVICT

Huminto sila sa isang ice cream store saka naupo. "Anong flavor?" nakangiting tanong ni Shawn sa kan'ya. "uh, kahit ano na lang cookies and cream gusto ko 'yon kainin ngayon." tinanguan siya nito at ginawaran ng isang mabilis na halik sa kan'yang noo. Namula ang mukha niya sa ginawa nito. Nang siya na lang ang natira, napatingin siya sa paligid at laking pasasalamat niay dahil walang nakatingin sa kan'ya.

Alpha's Games of Lies & Lust

Alpha's Games of Lies & Lust

She did not like it, but it was the closest activity to the warehouse. “Archery it is,” she whispered, picking up a bow and gear. Her first shot missed the bullseye entirely, though it hit the target. The second didn’t even make it that far. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched an Omega carry a box into the warehouse. She caught a whiff of a familiar, sharp scent: Moon Herb. Moon Herb was rare. It was used for potent painkillers and ointments, but it was also the primary ingredient for Moon Dust—the werewolf version of cocaine. Tristan had claimed his pack produced medicine, but she needed to know for sure.

MOONLIT SHADOWS

MOONLIT SHADOWS

She left the archives and made her way back to the police station, her heart pounding in her chest. When she arrived, she found Lukas sitting alone in the waiting room, his head in his hands. He looked up as she approached, his eyes red and swollen. "Lukas, I need to talk to you," Emma said, taking a seat next to him. Lukas looked at her, his expression guarded. "What about?" "I found something in the archives," Emma said. "A confession from Aaron Blackwood. He admitted to cursing the pendant and using it to control a werewolf. Do you know anything about this?"

I asked her, pulling her body in front of mine and resting my chin on her head. “I’m honestly not sure,” she said, shrugging. “What do you usually get?” “The cookies and cream milkshake,” I told her, pointing to the picture on the menu. “It’s their specialty.” Her eyes widened when she saw the large milkshake with two Oreos tucked into the mound of whipped cream on the top. “Oh shit, I would not be able to finish that on my own!” “We could share it?” I offered, my Lycan perking his ears up at that. “I don’t mind not having one to myself.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the second book but I’m also thoroughly disappointed that the author has chosen not to continue putting her books in this venue. Unfortunately, I’m unable to afford purchasing from a book store or online seller the next 2 books she’s written.

Allie is a wonderful and talented writer and author, I have so much to say but, very limited space, I love the beautiful and true life wisdom and positive tone, flow and everything this story had to offer. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were more chapters to read.

Destined to love

Destined to love

He put his boomerang and flute into the pocket of his oversized wind breaker. Shadow put on a skin mask giving him a scary appearance with a bald forehead and an inch deep scar on his right brow. His nose was slightly twisted to the left with a piece of his upper lip missing exposing his teeth and upper gum. He put on his hat. He took his retractable bow and arrow and the scanning shoes and its paired display watch. The trio walked out of the wardrobe looking like a group of hoodlums. Ed and Denis looked at them and smirked “Still got it!”
