Waindale

Adam says, "I know. I'm sorry." "Y-You can't just do that." "It's gone. It ran far north. Rogues don't come around here. There hasn't been one near Waindale in years. Most know that there's a pack based here, so they stay away. But this one was right outside the house, too close to be oblivious."

It took a couple of seconds for the rest to process it before they followed him. And there they went, inside of Jethro's truck, heading out of town to go to Derofort which was approximately an half hour away, but with Jethro's driving they'll arrive quicker. "Where are they going?" Renee squinted at the laptop situated on Caroline's lap and the latter shrugged. Renee tied her bright red hair up into a ponytail before her eyes landed on Austin who had his brows furrowed whilst staring at his phone. "What's wrong with you?"

It’s one of those moments that’s insignificant in the grand scheme of things, yet it suddenly clicks that this person is going to become irreplaceable. Mateo makes his way back to the living room with Lucas and his little brother Giano in tow. Seeing this, Rob quits trying to goad Alex into a rematch and instead yells for everyone to make their way outside for a game of soccer. The boy practically bounds out the house, most likely assuming he’ll redeem himself. He’s got a good chance – Alex might be stronger, but Rob’s long legs give him a speed advantage. Despite how gangly Rob seems, soccer is his niche.

, Dawn replied, pointing to the windchime hanging over the window opposite the bed. “Sure”, Lena agreed. Dawn grinned, watching her hopped up from the bed to unhook the item, the metal cylinders jangling at they moved. She brought it over and laid it down on the duvet. Lena then sat down opposite her friend and they linked hands over the windchime. “I call upon the spirits and the magic of nature. Aqua, terra, ignis et aer”, she began.

Wind that Forgot to Return

Wind that Forgot to Return

She deserves you more than me. Samuel walked into the heart of the flames, the heat so intense he could barely keep his eyes open. There it was, the USB drive on the desk, with Tania's neat handwriting spelling out "Samuel" from a happier time. His phone rang, it was Elias. "Grab what you need and head to the end of the hallway. The fire ladder is there, waiting. You can still make it." Without a word, Samuel hung up and tossed his phone into the blaze.

“A night or two away won’t hurt my claim. I’ll need to go back eventually but maybe he will have calmed down by then.” “Or taken it out on someone else.” I snorted. “Who would be willing to just take his anger? He might be Beta but even Gamma would be able to beat my dad right now. He’s not in top shape.” “You know, sometimes I want to murder you for taking his shit.” “But then you wouldn’t have a wingman.” She chuckled, only to let out a sigh. “Be careful, Winny. If he catches you…before Alpha can step in…”

Though i wish there was a better ending, i truly enjoyed this read. It kept me engaged and curious about the characters. It had a storyline that naturally flowed and kept you surprised at each turn. Super excited to read more of this author’s work

So so so so sooooo good! I LOVE your writing that’s 2 books back to back of yours that I’ve read. I know the next one I read will be just as good! The plot drew me in the cliffhangers caught me and twists held me down! I loved every minute of this story

“Sometimes the best fight strategy is not to fight at all. Atari is miffed; she wants to fight them all even though I told her 14 grown, trained wolves with weapons is a bit much for even us.” Leo smirked at Atari’s confidence. “Lore finds her very sexy you know” I rolled my eyes. “Now is not the time for them to be flirting.” I laugh as I walk over to the first van and melt the doors shut. We can hear muffled cries and shouts coming from inside. I didn’t realise the whole van would get hot and from the complaining I can hear it is not like they are sat in an over. Sounds like a them problem to me. I rush and do the same to the second van before the commotion makes them leave to investigate

Motto said as he waved at Dash, by the way reminded Dash to “keep yourself clean.” “Of course.” Dash said, “this type of country girl is not my taste.” He waved to Motto and said goodbye in a hurry. Dash put the button, started the car engine and drove straight. He was going to turn on the air -conditioner but he remembered that Daisy didn’t like things far from mother nature. So he Dash lowered the car window, the cool wind poured into the car, he felt refreshed and excited. All worries were swept away. Looking through the rearview mirror, Daisy laid curled up like a shrimp, slept peacefully. Just like an innocent, pure angel.

CROSSROAD

CROSSROAD

Eerily dark that she could not make out if someone was there, if Anand was there. The gravel crunched under his feet as he took a step closer to the fence. She whipped back to him. As he admired her with shining eyes, her gaze flitted around the premises. Usually, there were people around at this time, but this evening, the place was deserted. Strange, she thought. A storm seemed to be approaching. It was unusually still, the trees and its leaves stood as if frozen in time. ***
