My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

We hit the street running, actual wings of flame and night spreading from our backs, thirty feet wide and growing. Students saw us and stopped screaming. Someone started cheering. By the time we reached the riverfront, half the academy was behind us (witches on brooms made of stormclouds, wolves in full pack formation, Li riding a wave of starfire like a surfboard). The girl-thing hovered above the water, smiling down with a mouth that took up half her face. “Pretty wings,” she cooed. “They’ll look better burned.” She clapped once. The river rose in a black tidal wave full of teeth.

Sixty Days Of Fire

Sixty Days Of Fire

I didn’t want to argue with her in front of Justin, so I said, "I need you to come with me." "I’m not coming with you, and you can’t fire him," She said. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. Day by day, she gets more stubborn. "If you don’t come with me, I swear to God I will fire him, and I will make sure he never gets hired again," I said, my voice heavy with sincerity. I won’t hesitate to do that — after all, I don’t even care about Justin. Osline hesitated, but when she saw the sad look on Justin’s face, her heart must have melted, because she finally gave in. "Fine. I’ll go with you."

The Fire Within

The Fire Within

Flames A Rare kind of witches, extinct. The last Flames were burned down by common witches for the crime of being unique. Flames powers consist of Fire. Manipulating fire, imagining it, using it for one's need, and lastly illusions. Flames and Werewolves are the only supernaturals that can coexist without feeling a need to be at war with each other. There have come a time where a werewolf mate had to be a flame and the flame had to have an "Ignis" ( a soulmate ), they called him ignis because the wolves ignited the flames' fire. Just like the wolves, the Flames tend to have a short temper. When the werewolves started becoming extinct, the flames lashed out on families, friends, and mainly on

Life On Fire

Life On Fire

Vice retorted as he pushed past Jax and jumped on his bike, "And, it's Vice. Vincent was the naive fucker that let himself get pushed over way too much... he was the one that let the only person he ever trusted send him away without an explanation, nothing! Vice, however - Vice will blow your fucking head off before you have the chance." As Scar neared the Wolves' club, the first thing he noticed was a large, black cloud coming from where the building stood. The second thing was the ash that lingered in the air as he approached and the third was the flames that could be seen for miles. Scar's breath hitched as he sped up, ignoring the screams coming from the man tied to his bike. The rider f

FROST and FLAMES

FROST and FLAMES

Alex said as he moved out of the waterfall. He set me on the ground after we reached the land. BOOM! There was a huge explosion causing me to stagger backward. Alex held me preventing my fall. Huge clouds of vapor erupted clouding our vision. The temperature rose higher and higher till it had reached a scalding level. Alex enveloped us in a shield of energy to protect us from the impact of detonation. When the clouds finally cleared there was nothing left. The waterfall had vaporized and the Fire Cube had vanished. It was as if there never had been a waterfall before.

FIRE ON FIRE

FIRE ON FIRE

Elijah narrated his ordeal as he clung to my hand. “Ray was later stable so we could send her to where she could get help but she ran away. Own was a month by that time but the damage was done. Owen suffered a case of withdrawal and he was blind till he was ten months. He can’t see colors but we’re hoping he will heal when he shifts for the first time though I highly doubt that. Freya and I never mated, we never paired because I never had plans of doing that but she’s still Owen’s mother and I want him to know her even if he might never grow up with her.” Elijah said as he stared into my eyes. I cleaned the tears that strayed from his eyes as I thought of the years Elijah was suffering.

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

As if I summoned the vision, I felt a flash of heat press against my temple before the vision rushed to the forefront of my mind. The rush of bright lights was blinding, making it hard to make out any part of the room I had been thrown into—the smell of fire and ice filled my nose. The cries for Alora as the fire burned brightly around her rung in my ears. Suddenly the world shifted and as the sun rose, painting the morning sky with bright blues and pinks, a fire burst to life, greeting the morning sky in the shape of wings. A bird cry filled the air, and suddenly it was gone. I was ripped back into reality, my eyes blinking as I returned my focus to Reyna's face.

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

The One

The One

I know what I must do, what we all must do. To my left, Akin stands tall, his obsidian wings sharp and sleek, the wind tugging at his tunic as his eyes sweep the battlefield like a soldier gauging his next strike. To my right, River’s wings are the color of deep, angry storms. They shift with energy, crackling faintly as his fists curl at his sides. The fire in him burns steady now, no longer a threat but a force I can trust.

Playing With Fire

"If I can make it into the same college as you… or in the same city as you, can you please… not see other people and wait for me? I could tell that he was on the verge of tears. I nodded at once, agreeing to his request. "Same goes for you. It's our promise." I reached out to wipe his tears away. Then, I stared into his eyes and said, "This is the last time we get to see each other. I'm going to fulfill your last wish now." While speaking, I started to take off my clothes. I was going to give myself to him. However, Austin stopped me. I looked at him in confusion, staring into his eyes that were just as red as mine.

Frequently Asked Questions

From the very first chapter of 'Wings of Fire,' I was captivated by the vibrant characters that fly through its pages. For starters, there’s Ashra, our daring protagonist who is not just a talented warrior but also a deeply layered individual. Her journey isn’t just about wings and dragons; it’s about finding herself amidst chaos and forging her own destiny. I love how Ashra’s character development weaves seamlessly into the plot, making her struggles and triumphs resonate even more.

Then we have Kael, who I think is perhaps one of the most intriguing characters in the story. He’s a bit of a bad boy, with a mysterious past that keeps you guessing. But that’s what makes him so appealing! His dynamic with Ashra creates this push and pull that adds tension and excitement. It’s like every interaction they have just sizzles with potential, and I catch myself rooting for them both every single time.

And let’s not forget about the supporting cast, like Lyra, the fierce and loyal friend who brings such warmth and humor to the narrative. Her one-liners are some of my favorite parts of the story. Each character adds layers to the world of 'Wings of Fire,' making it feel alive and vibrant, much like the fantasy realms I love. Their journeys are unique yet intertwined, paving the way for an epic tale filled with adventure and heart. Overall, I’m just so drawn into this universe, and I can’t wait to see where their adventures lead them next!
