I always welcome critics but don't be mean. This book is filled with cliches so read at your own risks. I really suck at punctuation so please do bear with me.

It was getting dark, but I sat watching the flowers sway gently by the air. My hands idly picked at the hem of my skirt while my thoughts drifted, until a quick flash of light streaked across the dusky sky. A shooting star. My heart skipped. Every child knew what it meant, a wish will be granted if you whispered it before the light disappeared. “I wish…” my voice broke into a breath, eyes closing, hands trembling against my ribs. “I wish to be with Zevarion.” Of all the things I could have hoped for, freedom, revenge, an end to this cursed necklace, my soul reached out only for him. Even if it was just for a fleeting second.

Raya’s POV We were whisked away into the galaxy as stars flitted about all around me. It was the most beautiful sight, but as I got closer to them, I realized they weren’t just stars. Each one had a name and they belonged to a witch or wizard, while others belonged to wolves. The stars were the magic that made every supernatural possible. They were the magic that wizards and witches yielded. The magic that helped werewolves shift. The magic that kept vampires alive. One in particular, a giant red star, called to me. I knew it to be mine as I approached its flickering light.

Seven shooting stars appeared before her and it was the most magnificent sight ever. ''Seven shooting stars? Haha, it is unbelievable that seven shooting stars would appear now but that means I get seven wishes right? Hell! I don't care anymore. However....'' ''SEVEN WISHES! Then hear me Gods above, these are my wishes……'' Luna shouted out her wishes and screamed to her heart's content. When all her wishes had been said out loud and clear, she turned around and without a moment's hesitation, she leaned back with her eyes never closing for even a moment, and with a smile on her face, she stared at the sky while falling down the bridge.

I don’t know, this is my first time being here. “I know a spot. Follow me.” I look at Theo and forgot he is from this neck of the woods, taking his hand as Fen takes my other one. We walk towards the trees and follow Theo to a clearing. Moving to the centre, I lay down on the grass with Theo on one side and Fen on the other. Taking a deep breath, I look up at the inky black sky. The stars are scattered like twinkling fairy lights. They are always so beautiful. “Oh, look a shooting star, quick, make a wish.” I exclaim like a little kid at Christmas. I hear chuckles from both sides of me as I close my eyes and make my wish.

My eyes flicked to the clock on the wall as the hands slowly ticked forward, but there was no sign of him returning. The wound burned even though it was the middle of winter. I was sweating from the pain, my body betraying me. Desperate, I reached for my phone, but as soon as I unlocked it, a notification popped up, showing me a new post from Grace. [Stargazing with the Big Guy,] it read, with a picture of them both camping on a mountainside. I let out a bitter laugh. The algorithm sure knew exactly how to twist the knife when I was at my lowest.

Nothing does, really, except for this moment. “Alright, smartass.. Billion planets somewhere*, though.“ His thumb brushes over my knuckles absently. “Hey look.A shooting star!” *His eyes widen—head turning slightly towards me as he lets out a breathless chuckle. He's still holding my hand. “Make a wish.“ I watch it streak across the sky—and then glances back at him. “You too.” I close my eyes tightly,making a wish. “Yeah.I know what I want.”

Natasha pouted and mumbled, "I would never give Joshua stars." She still remembered the wish she made once under the brilliant night sky full of shooting stars. "I wish for Jacob to be my star forever." The night sky filled with countless shooting stars was a memory that belonged to only her and Jacob. However, she no longer had her star with her. Natasha only realized after a long time that Jacob had been right. Wishing on shooting stars never worked. It would never work. Why would someone who couldn't keep her own star try to get stars for anyone else?

I managed to say, wagging my head, and mimicking the usual way he calls me. He chuckled, "I'll send my wishes and gifts by morning. It's time to go!" He kissed my cheek again, and withdrew slowly from me. With that, he got into his car and drove off. I sighed in relief and signaled at the driver to take me home, i've gotten enough for the day, and it was already getting dark outside.

About some minutes Warrd joined her. “I have not been able to sleep.”Warrd said to her. “But why, you should go before your father finds you here with me.” She had warned him. “Don’t worry, I could ditch him.” He replied with a smile. “What do you do here always.” He asked. He came closer to her. “I come here to see the stars of wishes. They say that when the stars are shooting and when you’d come on time to make your wishes it shall be granted.” She answered.
