I closed my eyes and thought about this entire night. How come the moment I admitted out loud that I am never going to be bought by anyone to 300, I get bought right away? Was the moon goddess waiting for me to say those words out loud to grant me the wish I wanted? And by who? My mate? That wasn’t what I wished for!! Why goddess? Have I not suffered enough already? Do you want to create another threshold of pain endurance for me? To set another record of how much more suffering one person can feel in a life time? “He hasn’t done anything hurtful yet” my wolf whispered to me and I detected it for the first time in forever, tiny little sparks of hope trying to burst through her over to me.

My mind was already firm and hardened on that stand. Despite all the thoughts currently running through my mind, I was still crying with reckless abandon, not caring whether anybody heard me at this point. I wanted to cry all my sorrows out. I wanted to purge my mind and soul of all the bad memories and leave only the good. I wanted all the things I had done with my parents and the joy and peacefulness I had experienced with them to come back. I wanted so many things. Things that I knew couldn't ever happen. It couldn't possibly happen at all. It was just wishful thinking.

I could recognized them to be Amber, the family's chef, and Riley, the head of the staffs. Their voices were quite low, but audible enough to be heard. My governess being the prime example, but there are more. The gardener, my maids, and even my friends. There are victims of it, therefore I stopped wishing.”

I didn't wish to open them. Why? I was hoping that everything that took place in that dreadful resort was just another figment of my imagination, Perhaps, another nightmare, just like the ones I have had before. I wished that when I opened my eyes I would be in my bed at my home. Starting to get ready for my daily life-sucking desk job. But the reality was far different than my imagination. I understood that when I slowly opened my eyes. I was disheartened that every horrifying thing I have experienced until now was real as I was still lying under the tree I slept under before.
