Lunaryn’s growl rumbled low in my mind. “Something’s coming, pup. And it’s not going to be friendly.”
The ground trembled under my boots as the witches began their chant, Thessaly and the Moon Priestesses standing in the center of the carefully etched circle. Crystals glowed along the outer rim, their light pulsing in time with the voices. My job was simple, keep them alive until the spell was complete.
