We werewolves and witches were not that close, we tend to get on each other’s nerves, so I knew my father would not approve, he was big on keeping to the rules. I became her stalker, not that she knew. Werewolves have the tendency to scout their mates out first than any other supernatural species, for that reason, I didn’t think she knew we were mates. I watched her from afar, I watched as she interacted with the village people, how kind she was to everyone, always willing to use her power to help the less privileged, one could tell she was from a noble house from the way she is always dressed. My stalking went as far as two full moons, as painful as it was to see her and not be able to touc

Brock retorted, skepticism lacing his voice. I countered his disbelief, "As it turns out, the legend carries more truth than we thought. Indeed, there was a mermaid princess and a werewolf prince who discovered they were mates. Their families opposed the match, but the lovers were inseparable. Unable to bear the thought of living apart, the princess sacrificed her tail to become a mortal and remain with her love. In exchange for this transformation, they struck a deal with a witch, paying a steep price—their firstborn son. The witch then sold the child to a childless werewolf couple."

And the first step to achieving that was just to solve one of the witches mysteries and get promoted to a senior witch; the position came with a broom for flying and the Ingrid spell book. The witches' mysteries were definitely far from being easy. These mysteries consisted of things that were yet to be known, solving unexplainable puzzles and explaining certain causes of some events such as finding out what was at the depth of the Bermuda triangle, or determining the cause of the blood rain, or giving a specific time frame or a cause of the blood moon, or finding out the durations of total solar eclipse.

With a conspicuous eyes, she threw the carriage a glance before its door shuts closed, making an eye contact with those dangerous penetrating stares from the young prince for a brief moment. With the stallion pressing forward ahead of the palace guards’ convoy, the tribe princess wore a smile when the prince began to tell a tale about the surrounding forest around them, saying those old stories about the legends on human snake who reigned the entire forest and the existence of witches being executed by the catholic church itself. “I have heard although it was a pure old myths that witches can resurrect someone dead in exchange of a very huge price.” Prince Woon continued. “Price.” She mumble

WITCHES: THE RISING PLOT The era of witches is gone forgotten by all but a few who has lived through it. However, a teenage girl discovers her powers in an unexpected manner. With the unlike squad she has come to regard as family, what are the challenges they will face in a world predominantly governed by humans? Will they come out whole, alive, unscarred and unscathed? CHAPTER 1 PILOT Clara’s POV:

The stories never really specified what happened to the witches and Hybrid wolves after that but the werewolf community hasn't heard about them for decades and so we assumed they didn't survive alone, out of the packs. But Balfour sounded like he was onto something by mentioning them. "If you heard of them, then you must know how powerful they are. Witches are powerful enough to replace scents and make them smell familiar even when they're not using dark magic." I held myself back from scoffing. Balfour sounded like he would do anything to convince me that the princess is bad news. "I don't want to assume that you're thinking Princess Ilvira made use of a witch to replace her scent with min

If not for the sword they got from the old dragon which killed their queen, they wouldn't be able to defeat them. The werewolves sacrificed a lot to get the sword and after killing the queen of the witches, the sword disappeared. Most of them were surprised that witches still exist, they thought they killed them all in the war. Logan told them that the witches still exist, and one of them lived with us. The truth of what Sylvester did came to light but unfortunately, he has fled. It looks like he noticed the situation beforehand.

, he tells pointing towards one clay tablet which has letters written in old Latin language which is different than the evolved Latin which humans know, being a witch I clearly understand and can read it since my childhood. “usus vulpis rubri mortui sanguinis ad tollendum venenum e lamia efficax est cum sol corpus ferit”, I read it out loud unconsciously deep in the thoughts. I remember seeing few vampires coming and leaving my parents work place when I was young, but I didn’t knew that witches and wizards used to note down these things when they have photogenic memory and they teach others practically making medicines than giving notes. “What was that?”, Dr Wilson asks curiously to which I

He then stopped, breathing hard and buried his face in the corner of my neck. “What are you?” he asked, somewhat dazed. "Human?" I said with a frown. 'Couldn't he tell?' I wondered. "you?" "I'm a Lycan and you are no ordinary human," he rasped. 'Oh! That's what he meant. Perhaps he could perceive that I was a witch.' I thought to myself, remembering him in his beastly form thinking I was right in my deduction of what he was. Lycans and werewolves are known for their keen sense of smell just like the nightwalkers who can tell apart regular human blood from a witch's blood. My mother once told me that nocturnal creatures feared drinking witches' blood because they are scared of being enslaved
