Her eyes glowed blue and the same with her palms, she turned over as sight instantly swam across the barrier and towards her. Line by line, she began to reverse; " lleh fo semalf eht yb llaf" (Fall by the flames of hell) The first line was spoken, the line which triggered a reverse spell. "Htaed O' (O death) The second line, spoken, it seemed like nothing had occurred yet. "Ssenkaew ruoy si siht rof" (For this is your weakness) "Maria stop this please!" John let his emotion flow as he cried out loud, hitting against the barrier once more.

There, in my mother’s handwriting, was a list of spells she had invented — each classified as X-Forbidden. Jualsra — a de-healing spell that reverses the subject’s healing process. It can reopen old wounds, both visible and invisible, physical or otherwise, returning them to their worst state. [Conditions Required: 5 years of life-force (irreversible), blood tongue, undivided visible focus on the targeted wound, chanted thrice to activate fully ।। Side Effects: Phantom pain while casting the spell, drains energy] Blood tongue was essential for nearly all forbidden spells, requiring the caster to cut, bite, or chew their tongue until their mouth filled with blood before chanting.

Elysian, smiled awkwardly, clearly acknowledged the fact that Adrian absolutely gonna think of her as a weirdo. "You have an interesting personality, we should talk more.. but...before that..." Adrian looks at the wendigo and snaps his finger and said something "Praestigia" and as if he has cast the spell with the snap of his finger and that word, which Elysian didn't understand but it unavoidably make Adrian sexier when he said that word. The way his tongue parted his thin lips with his adam apple rolls up to force that word out. And the wendigo started acting as if its eyes have covered with a web and it started scratching while stumbling on its feet. "What did you do?"Elysian, exclaimed.

“So if someone is cursed to sleep, what spell would you use to counter the curse?” I ask Aunt Shanna. “Ah!” she exclaims after pausing to think. “I know just the spell.” She begins to flip through the pages. Words fly past in rapid succession, but I manage to read a few. They mean guard, bind, and dispel. After flipping through half of the book, Shanna stops and points to a page. The explanation of the spell is short and merely states that the spell will wake up the recipient. The magic word is ‘izuzzu’ which means ‘arise’ in the language of magic. This is written at the center of the magic circle and is surrounded by lines that form the shape of z’s. Shanna seems to be watching me because w

With a loud hissing sound, a dozen or so Nether Spirits were reduced into white smoke in an instant. Unfortunately, this only made more furious spirits charging at them. Xu Gu immediately cast spells with both hands. "Om, ma, ni, pad, me, hum!" The six-word Supreme Brightness Spell left his mouth and turned into six swastika-shaped golden seals that instantly destroyed several hundreds of Nether Spirits.

All the students stared at him in amazement, and he wasn’t even in the air yet. “As you know, we use the Latin tongue for spellcasting. It is our ancestorial language and therefore, most of our spells and curses are in the Latin language.” Most nodded, already knowing this information. “Can someone tell me what the Latin word for ‘Upward’ is?” “Sursum,” Damien whispered to himself. I wasn’t surprised he knew the answer already. It was Sarah who raised her hand first and Professor Howl nodded for her to answer. “Sursum,” she answered confidently.

I pleaded to him with my eye gesture praying he understood my point. I guess he understood me, cause he blink his eyes at me in an assuring manner "Speak up!" The Alpha said coming closer toward us "His sickness has no cure" "What???" The Alpha ask looking shocked, for a blink, I saw her eyes flick colors but they changed back to their normal colors immediately "What do you mean?" Alpha Sheila further inquired. "Your majesty his sickness is rare and if he must live, there is only one way"

She often thought of putting a hex on him to bind her to him. His red eyes farmed with long lashes, were now set on a sack of paper on her lap. They were all failed attempts as the little model never matched the lining up on the mountain altogether. It was almost impossible to know the spell words Great Mistress used so she was probably translating the layers of the spell wrong. Letters, synonyms, and spaces were significant in spells and though she was playing it by ear with the spell she knew from Old Seniel, there were a hundred interpretations of a single word.

"Aria, please lend me your power." She asked her wolf, who immediately stirred in her mind. Then she began the spell. "X Ten A Brease at Lukem. X Morte Advitum." There was a powerful gush of wind, and the candles which were lit fluttered as if they would die out. "Revoca and Imam Red A Corpus ut Quod Podium Est. Restitute ed Quod Mortuom Est Revervat." Odessa's voice had turned otherworldly and had a powerful vibration to it.

My parents had warned me, always, about witches and warlocks. They told me their kind was dangerous, not only because of their powers but because of their nature. Manipulators, deceivers, creatures who sought control over everything the Four Courts had once held. As a child, those words had lodged in me like thorns. I grew up afraid of shadows that might have been theirs, convinced that even their names held power.
