He collapses to the ground, growling in pain, desperately fighting back. My mum, in a desperate howl, drops me and shifts into her wolf form to join the fierce battle. Then I wake up with a jolt as hot tears stream down my eyes. My heart races like it wants to escape my chest as the remnant of the dream lingers in my mind. Scanning the room, confusion clouds my thoughts as I search for reassurance that it was just a dream. The dream is disturbing because it keeps recurring. I had watched my dad get killed by a ruthless Alpha right in front of me, and since then, the scene of battle keeps reoccurring.

A man, screaming in terror, was thrown from the upper floors and crashed to the ground with such force that his head shattered into pieces. The crowd's faces turned pale as they tiptoed forward to inspect the scene. They were instantly horrified and collapsed to the ground, screaming, "Mr. Hill!" Frederick smirked. "So, is that the man you were talking about?" The tattooed men's faces turned ashen. "Why is he dead?" Frederick twirled his fingers idly. "Because I wanted him dead." As soon as he finished speaking, the tattooed men were struck with a profound sense of dread. Their expressions turned to ones of sheer terror as they screamed and scattered in panic.

Did someone enter through the window? To test that theory, I call the name that comes to mind, “Freddy? Is that you?” No answer. The thumping sound gets louder. It sounds like someone is walking to the bathroom door, and I open my mouth to shout but fall silent once Freddy stumbles out of it. What is strange is that he doesn’t quite look like himself. He is drenched in a cold sweat, and I freeze when his eyes lift to mine. They are entirely black, while his teeth are elongated.
