•Serena's POV• The Academy of Dark Arts. The Academy was made out of dark stone. Aged bricks bearing the weight of the massive structure. The long yards of plush white carpeting, overlaid by Tibetan rugs clashed with the newly designed crystal chandeliers. The Academy also had a prison where guilty witches and warlocks await their punishment. They were to serve us and make us more powerful and dominant over every other pack in the realm.

I can't shift, have no specific powers of my own, and the ability to see dead people would make me a freak even by their own standards. The academy was born out of a treaty between werewolves and the Eld, a species of immortal shifters from another dominion. What was meant to be a facility for learning and inclusivity was now a hotspot for influential politicians and tycoons looking to further their way in the immortal world. I've heard of parents injecting certain compounds into their children just to get them accepted. I wasn't manufactured out of a syringe, though. No, that would make things a lot easier, because then I'd know exactly what made me the way I am. But I am weird all by mysel

The elders specified in the respective field will be the headmasters of the following respective fields. It was compulsory for the witches and wizards who chose to live a life like mundane to send their children to the academy. Bullying is not allowed in school. The academy will be near the coven place. After all the academy discussion, we discuss the witches' rules who wanted to live a mundane life. Those rules are as follows: 1. They are not allowed to use magic in front of human beings. 2. It is compulsory to attend a meeting held by the coven once a year.

What we were. These new students still didn’t understand where they had walked into. This academy wasn’t just a school, it was a prison disguised as a sanctuary. Built to contain us, the so-called “Elites,” the ones whose power couldn’t be tamed by any Elder council. They believed the walls, the little rules, the hierarchy would hold us, that we’d play along and pretend to be docile. But deep down, everyone knew the truth, the Elites ruled this place. We could undo an entire wing of the academy in seconds, and no one would stop us. “I don’t care,” Abigail snapped, folding her arms. “I don’t like him.”

I hoped he would go too far and the she-wolves would drop out of not just class but the school itself. “Do you have a name for this academy yet?” “We,” he corrected. “Oh, so Mrs King’s not just a silent partner. Or should that be patsy?” I sassed, hoping to make him even angrier. It worked. “I meant all of us, you little – ” “Hit me and I tell her what you said about her outliving her usefulness.” These Alphas. How many of them were actually smart? Throwing their weight around, being born to it, meant they didn’t have to rely on their wits. He kept disclosing too much and changing his mind.

I just lied to her. Looking outside the window of the cab driving back to my home pack, different thoughts swirled in my mind. I wondered how I would convince Alpha Rowan that I wanted to go to the Werewolf Multipurpose Academy. Not only is it the weirdest school to ever exist in our kingdom, but it's also the scariest. The most deaths have occurred there, yet the strongest warriors and intellectuals have also emerged from it.

June told him, gritting her teeth as if just talking about Wayne made her teeth sour. After all, he was once his slave and a punching bag, now he was in the country’s top national academy, which she never even dreamed of entering. “What? An academy?” Xavier raised a brow. “Which one? Who dared to take a sickly kid like that?” “Vanguard National Academy of Wolves,” she gritted her teeth as she informed him, taking Xavier by shock. “How could that be?” His eyes widened. “Even I was not able to enter there! It would be impossible to bring him back, the defenses there are quite strong.”

he stated. “The Academy,” I asked confused. “Yeah, I thought you had a couple classes there,” he asked with a slight chuckle. “No, I always chicken out for one reason or another. Can you explain it to me,” I asked still very much confused. “Well, white lake high was build as a cover school or an evaluation center for kids with potential for White Lake Academy, which is the elite supernatural school only a select few can get in. Kids from all over the world want to join but their criteria is insane,” he said.

She sips her tea again, thoughtfully, “I do understand your desire to leave this school—” “I thought it was a camp,” I mutter. She lets out a sudden laugh at that, murmuring, “Yes. Yes, you’d think so. But no. It is only advertised as a camp. We are a school, my dear. A school for the gifted.” I’m trying to wrap my head around her words, before saying slowly, “The gifted? I thought this was for delinquents and—” She just smiles, a vague gesture. “Yes. We do advertise it as such, but I hardly think you are a delinquent, my dear girl. Troubled, perhaps, but then it is understandable, no?”

I haven't found mine yet but I'm not too worried because there is still time. I go to the werewolf academy for both boys and girls located on a small island in a secluded area and I'm in my last year. I and my twin chose to go to this academy rather than the other one just for Alphas, Betas and Gammas because we don't believe that just because we have a higher position that we should be superior, I mean we get the classes that we need at our academy and we befriend more people. The other academy is located a couple islands away but far enough that it would take a week to travel to each place by boat. Anyway, on with the story…
