CHRONICLES OF THE FLAMEBORNE (THE WEREWOLF'S CURSE)

CHRONICLES OF THE FLAMEBORNE (THE WEREWOLF'S CURSE)

Countless books lined the shelves. Leaning forward, I picked up an old, rusty spellbook. After brushing off the dust and cobwebs, I opened it to find potions, magics, and spells of all kinds. “But how do I know which is the right one?” I wondered aloud. A brief silence followed. Then, a noise came from the back. My heart skipped. Moving closer to investigate, I spotted a small, aged book on the floor. Picking it up, I skimmed the first few pages. The book focused mainly on werewolves. Opening it further, my eyes widened—there, written boldly on the middle page, were potions, spells, and a cure for werewolf illness.

Kings & Queens (Book 3 Vampire Witch Trilogy)

Kings & Queens (Book 3 Vampire Witch Trilogy)

Abigail said as she sank down onto a chair with a defeated expression. “We’ll be the victors in this, “I assured her. “I just need to do a little prep work before we go into battle.” “Understood,” she nodded. “What do I do?” “Rest,” I said. “You’ll need it.” She draped her body over the chair and swung her legs absent mindedly while she watched me pour over the pages of the grimoire. With my strength returned to me and my magic intact, I speed read the entire eight-hundred-page ancient book -with one-hundred percent retention- within a matter of minutes.

Of Wolves and Magic

Of Wolves and Magic

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

 A Witch's Nightmare - Dream Trilogy Book 1

A Witch's Nightmare - Dream Trilogy Book 1

After the boys had left my room, I went through my bag and pulled out my favorite book, Night Flame, by Catherine Hart. I sat back in my chair by the window, prepared to spend the rest of the afternoon reading when a shiver ran down my spine. I jumped out of my seat and spun around to see a pair of yellow eyes glowing in the corner of the room. As those eyes drew closer to me, I realized that it was Simon, the fae that came to warn me the other day.

The Cursed Alpha’s Daughter

The Cursed Alpha’s Daughter

“Really? Good to know it’s not just me. Though I’m surprised you came back after your first experience.” They both snorted. We reached a table and sat down. Rurik passed me a book titled Bloodwright: Basic Knowledge, and I thanked him. Yasha unpacked her books, parchment, ink, and a neatly rolled schedule. I spotted it immediately. And froze. “Wand Theory and Fundamentals… Spellcasting Ethics…” I read aloud, incredulous. “Why do you look like you’ve seen a headless ghost?” Rurik asked. “What do these mean exactly?" I question. "Are these real subjects? Actually taught here?”

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Crown

She dropped her bag to the floor and pulled out a stack of worn books, their covers frayed and stitched by hand. “But we didn’t come back empty-handed,” she said quickly, kneeling in front of me. “Look at these.” She placed them in my hands one after another. The pages were yellowed, the edges rough, filled with cramped handwriting and strange symbols. Some were notes on powerful witches from centuries ago. Others were diagrams of spell circles I had never seen before. There were markings about rare bloodlines, abilities that appeared only once in a generation, and rituals that felt both brilliant and dangerous.

FATED TO THE ALPHA BEAST

FATED TO THE ALPHA BEAST

Avery sat down on the edge of the table. "Wrong. The beast would be awake, alert, and in its strongest form." Wahika replied. "Let's postpone it then. Do we really need to do this?" Avery asked. "I don't want to die." Wahika brought out another book. "This was the older version. Some chapters are missing in the new version. They removed it and refurbished it as fiction." Wahika dropped the book on the table. "Only three people have access to this book. The white witch, that's me. The supernaturals burnt theirs to ashes during the war. The third —" Avery waited for her to say something, but Wahika didn't.

Twins Of Lymfeya

Twins Of Lymfeya

He was not only fascinated by what he was reading but he started making some demonstrations with his hands as he read along. “This is good, the greatest guide to the wizards and witches of all time. This is the best guide to teach the witches of the old and dark” Anan voiced out turning and handing the book back to Mckenny. The light from it was beaming even as they opened it and read a few lines through. “What has she been doing with it hidden here?” Mark inquired.

Fated to My Sister's Mate

Fated to My Sister's Mate

Going over seat back on his seat, he heard another minister speaking in a concerned voice, " But Your Highness! What about the ancient book? Is it safe to keep that in the castle or do you have plan of transforming it somewhere else?" The ancient book was left by a monk who secretly researched on Witches and Vampires for years. After he figured out that what magics could destroy them, he made a written copies of them. In a handly encounter with Cyrus, he managed to win the book from that monk. All this time, Cyrus was using those forbidden spells to capture those witches. In other words, the book not only contained the procedures of killing or capturing witches but also had the mention of ki

I can’t believe the hate he has for her.. and I can’t believe she is sticking around for the torture . Great storyline but chapter 26-31 are repeat . And few chapters prior are from another book . Hope you can fix that ! Hope she just leave him soon ..
A
Book started out ok but around chapter 50 the book makes zero sense. Names change, nationality of packs change… the author needs to outline the book better and fix it. Not reading the book further and paying for such poor editing/writing.

Dance With The Wicked

Dance With The Wicked

“If it is just once, can’t you accompany me?” “No,” flatly Edith refused. “I don’t feel comfortable there either way. Rather than that, let’s have you study this first.” Lady Edith pulled the chair for her to sat on before dumping a pile of thick seven-hundred-pages book in front of her. “This are the books to introductory to witchcraft and I— my dearest student— want you to study this all!” She chirped happily. Belle blinked at the pages that covered her face. She couldn’t even see the top of the pile, “You’re kidding.”
