I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Alpha Red's eyes narrowed, his interest piqued. "What was the prophecy?" he asked, his voice low and urgent. I hesitated, unsure of how to reveal the truth. But I knew I had to tell him. "The prophecy said that our child is the Light Wolf, destined to bring balance and harmony to our world," I said, my voice trembling. "But there's another, a Dark Wolf, born to destroy the universe alongside our child if they ever bond.”

Sighing, he explained," The prophecy was not very clear. Because it was made for four different packs and sects. The first part of the prophecy was made to an Alpha. It spoke of a female wolf being born who would unite all packs under one rule and bring about peace. Her nearness would also prevent the lonely wolves from going rogue. The second part was made to the Enforcers. It spoke about her powers and anyone who would be chosen to serve her would be blessed forever. The third was made to a Healer Beta. It spoke of the consequences should she not ascent to the throne. And the fourth was made to an unknown. Even though the exact contents are unknown, there have been guesses that it spoke of

And there, hidden within the dusty pages of an ancient manuscript, I found it—the prophecy that would change everything. As I read the words inscribed upon the yellowed parchment, a sense of awe washed over me, as if I had stumbled upon the key to unlocking the mysteries of the moon's spell. The prophecy spoke of a chosen one, a figure destined to lead the werewolf pack to victory against their enemies and restore balance to the world. My father's warning had been very clear and concise. The further my little mate went, the more my insides felt like they were being burned by volcanic fire erupting from my jealous and saddened heart. My family thought Ginny denying my grandfather as her mate would result in the end of the werewolf species, but Ginny apparently prayed to the Moon Goddess herself, begging her to give him a second chance mate. A mate that was a werewolf. I don't know the whole story, but I know that the Moon Goddess spared us and Ginny, a human woman, had been the one to protect us.

"This prophecy was found in the pack's oldest records, said to be left by a prophet cursed by a witch." My heart filled with anxiety. Was this the prophecy my father spoke of on his deathbed?
