My vision blurs “I… I think so.” I hear people rushing toward us, shouting. Sirens wail in the distance. My eyelids feel heavy. I try to stay awake, but the world around me blurs and the voices fade into nothing. Then, darkness. - When I wake, the harsh fluorescent lights of the hospital burn my eyes. A dull ache throbs in my arm, but I can tell nothing is broken. My head is pounding, though, and the sheets beneath me are proof that I’m not at home. I sigh, running a hand through my hair as I adjust to my surroundings.

She was the only occupant in it. Just as I had done all day, I ignored her. Blinking, I started seeing black spots in my vision. Strange, I had eaten and today wasn't that stressful. I shook my head and looked up, just in time to catch Lily's gaze through the reducing gap of the closing elevator doors. My vision blurred and I held the wall for support, my head suddenly ached with a nasty intensity. Something was wrong. I tried to glare at Lily but my vision swam.

Bree leaned back against the sofa's backrest and let herself recover from the dizziness. Suddenly, Bree felt her hair stand on end. She felt the same thing earlier. Without any hesitation, Bree opened her eyes. She didn't move from leaning against the sofa. Through her blurry vision, Bree saw the silhouette of a man standing next to her. She blinked a couple of times to clear her vision! But it was still the same! Was she that drunk to hallucinate like this? Bree raised her hand and waved it in front of her. Dizzy and blurry eyes, not a good combination.

When I wake up, my vision is blurry and my head is groggy. I feel nauseous and cold. I don't know where I am. I try to open my eyes to get a better look around, only for my stomach to somersault. I begin to dry heave, using what little strength I have not to throw up. I lean back and feel my back rest against a cold wall. I lean my head back slowly, allowing my stomach to settle before I try to open my eyes once more. After several minutes, I feel the nausea begin to settle, so I try to open my eyes once more.

SARAH I woke up with a jolt, my head pounding like a drum. The sharp pain was unbearable, and my vision was blurry. I tried to blink it away, but everything still seemed off, like I was seeing through a fog. I felt nauseous, my stomach churning in waves that made me want to throw up.

Which is insane because almost everyone back at home complains my screen isn’t bright enough. It was then it dawned on me that I was coming down with a fever. Hot water leaked from my eyes, making my vision misty and a bit blurry. Recalling the event of yesterday, from being under the shower for several minutes, sitting in wet clothes for yet another. Everything starts to make sense. I sink back into the covers, closing my eyes and rubbing my palms together. I sat up a second later, looking around for my phone, only to realize I have it beside me the entire time.

Elora’s POV I woke up to the pungent smell of what seemed to be a herbal medicine invading my nostrils. The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing. I slowly got up and lifted my eyelids. I squinted in an attempt to sharpen the blurry image surrounding me. However, a sharp pain stung my eyeballs as soon as the light hit them. It felt as if my whole eyeballs were dried up. It gave me some discomfort making me blink a couple of times in an attempt to wet it with my tears. Unfortunately, it didn’t help so I ended up rubbing them. That was when I noticed that no matter what I do, my vision didn’t seem to enhance at all.

I opened my eyes but with the sunlight shining my eyes, I squinted my eyes to refrain any sunlight coming to my eyes and not get my headaches any more worse. I turned to the other side and opened my eyes a little. It was blurry and I couldn't see anything. I closed my eyes tight again and opened my eyes slowly. The blurriness slowly fades away. As the blurriness ran away, a familiar shirtless human was sleeping at my side of the bed. Oh no. Oh no no no! What happened last night? Why don't I have a memory of the night before. Please don't let this be what I think it is.

I nodded slightly as I pushed my seat back and got on my weaker legs. God, what is going on with me? I took steps towards the entrance door of the room. I stopped in my tracks as my head banged, making me move my hand to my forehead. I massaged it but my eyes gave up and so did my feet. I landed on the floor, feeling my entire being drifting away slowly. I don't feel good. Something is wrong. Everything looks blurry. I can't....I can't see clearly. Wha.... A blurry figure appeared, looking down at me.
