he said as he got out his tools and came to examine my eyes. "Your eyes seem okay, and you seem to be improving faster," the doctor observed. "Thank you, Doctor," my grey eyes beamed with intensity. "Are you experiencing any difficulties?" the doctor asked. "Ehm, just that my vision gets blurry with the glasses on... Yes, like I feel I'm going blind from the glasses," I added. "Oh, sorry about that," the doctor stated. "I think I will prescribe you new glasses to help with that. And please stay off them as often as possible, so it wouldn't damage your already-made progress."

My vision starts to get blurry black dots started to appear in front of my eyes. I heared veer telling me to not close my eyes but I felt my eyes shut and darkness engulfed me..

I felt the sensation of wind being blown into my eyes, making my vision go slightly blurry. I blinked a few times to try and get my eyes to focus. I squeezed Dmitri’s hand as my sight cleared. Everything looked like it belonged in one of those cheesy dream sequences you see in soap dramas. Everything was a little too bright, and a bit hazy, like a fog had filled the room. Even the people looked the same, but different.

My vision blurred. And then—darkness.

AURELIA “Mate…” I woke up with that word still pressed on my lips like a prayer. The first thing that reached me was the sterile smell of antiseptic and the soft beeping of medical equipment. The lights above were too harsh and white, making me squint as I tried to blink the room into focus. I lifted a hand to rub my eyes and froze. Something was wrong. I… couldn’t see clearly. Normally I could manage without my glasses for a little while, my wolf vision compensated even when my actual eyesight didn’t. But now all I could see was blurry lines and floating shadows.

I sat inside my car and drove away. Tears are streaming down my eyes. I really don't know what to do. I never expected something like this will happen. I need to stop the car since i can't drive with blurry vision. I can't believe this is happening to me. My peaceful and happy life is turned upside down just in few minutes.

The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was that everywhere was blurry. I blink, feeling tears rush down my eyes due to the pain of trying to clear my eyes. I blink again and the ceiling comes into focus, it's a hammered glass that houses several florescent bulbs. The hammered glass is surrounded by a white pop ceiling that hurts my eyes. I shut my eyes and try to think of where I could be.

But the instant I did, my head started spinning and my vision blurred. This can seriously not be good. I thought this was a fever and it might be due to the stress or staying out all night in the cold wearing a thin dress, but it couldn't be. My only hope of recovery was to get to whoever was outside my door and ask for help. I didn’t want to be found dead in a crappy apartment wearing a worn out pj! My vision hadn't improved; instead it kept blurring further, so I spread my hands out in front of me and tried to reach the door. It shouldn't have been hard since my apartment was small, but black sports were now forming in my vision.

I muttered under my breath as mom shook my shoulder. "Dear?" Ah, now I understand why my vision is blurry. It's because my tears are flowing profusely right now…

7 years ago "Doctor what happened to her?" I heard my mother's soft voice. "She has Retinitis Pigmentosa." I heard, what I assumed, the doctor "W-What is that?" My mother's trembling voice asked as I felt her hand grip mine. Something was wrong with me. Everything was black. I know for sure my eyes were open but I can't seem to see anything. I heard someone sigh. "M-mom, I cannot. I cannot see." I said as I tried to sit up but someone pushed me down. "Please settle down, honey while I talk to the doctor." My mother said.
