Wolf Bait Novels & Stories

If one wolf could jump on it, one or more of them could come at us from above. We stepped in tandem, our sparring paying off. We gradually moved to the side until we were far enough away from the Humvee. Snarls and growls filled the air. One of the wolves Talon fought, shrieked. It was so loud, it hurt my ears. What was Talon fighting them with? I wondered. Two wolves were now facing me. The other three had to be attacking Sable. I didn’t see Vilkas in his human shape and figured he’d shifted. I advanced on my two and Sable stayed at my back with a foot separating us. I could feel his energy.

Vic got outside the cave and stopped, ' I've seen this wolf before. Last night! It was the wolf that howled last night. But they are so many wolves. And this one looks like an human being. Shit, they are bowing down to him. Is it really a human being? ' Vic thought. He had activated his Vampdragon Eyes when he was in the cave, he did that so he could sight any aura in coming towards them in the dark cave they were in. Although they lit the light source gem, but Vic still took extra precautions. And that helped him to quickly sight the wolves that were outside.

My leg hitched up, wrapping around his waist, pushing his hard cock against my soaked underwear. "Why?" He lifted his head from my chest, those perfectly blue eyes of his creased with concern. "Because I have nothing else. Matilda, I've had my wolf stolen from me. He's called Vez, when I was searching for my parents killers I got drunk in a bar with a woman named Ruth. They drugged me and took my wolf." “Ruth?" I whispered but Cillian’s head had already dropped back down to caress me instead. I gasped as he kissed between my breasts and his hands urgently tugged my panties down over my ass. "Your wolf taken, this whole time? How have you coped..."

“Oh god, could this be the disaster I was fearing that was about to happen to us?” “You and your brother may have passed the interview and been accepted into the North. We have accepted you here and we believe that you should be on your best behaviour. If we find out that you are spies or have ulterior motives for coming to the North, we will kill you, reanimate you with magic and kill you again. Be warned!” he said, the stern look on his face never left and his eyes glowed a fierce and bright yellow. That was his wolf eyes and I was terrified. My brother who was now scared of the man before us, clung to me and I held him, patting his head to calm him down.

“He’s up!” I turn back toward the events where two more wolves are lining up. One, narrower than you usually see in a joust and pure white, prances in place. When he sees Elian waving from the royal box, he tosses his head and howls. Fitting, given that wolf is Howell, Elian’s mate. On the other end is a Tansy Beach bruiser I don’t recognize. Howell’s reputation precedes him. Despite his size, he’s one of the best Dun’s Crossing has ever produced.

"We found out she lied. She wasn't the White Wolf. So we killed the bitch to prove our loyalty to you!" Lucas added eagerly, his face wearing a mask of sickening, fake devotion. "Yes, Ivy. Everything before was just a test we gave you. As a White Wolf, you need to learn tolerance. Now that you've passed the test, we've already discarded Sarah. We are the twin Alphas, your perfect match. Only we are worthy of you in this world." Looking at their faces—so arrogant yet so pathetic—I just found it hilarious. They actually thought murdering their accomplice would wash away the blood on their own hands.

I sat with the silence a long moment before something else surfaced, something that had been sitting unexamined at the back of my mind since the fire. "Is that why my wolf came late?" I asked. "Three years past normal. I always thought there was something wrong with me." "There was nothing wrong with you," Victoria said, and there was something almost gentle in how firmly she said it. "The texts describe Lunara wolves as waiting. Not broken, not delayed—waiting, for a moment of extreme enough need that the wolf understood exactly when she was required. As if she knew the ordinary timeline wasn't the one that mattered."

Some had eventually forgotten the trait within them, living their life as normal human beings. There was one family though, that valued their tradition far greater than the rest of their kind. The sole family who still kept up with their belief was the Vailant family, a matriarchal family. It was rare for a legacy family to give birth to two legacy wolves, most of their ancestors only gave birth to a single child.

Another guy stood up, "I'm Ralph Bensen, a member of the beta hounds pack too. I like trekking. If you like to go trekking sometime, I'm pleased to help you." Lucian hit on Ralph's shoulder and made him sit in his place. "I'm Jacob Elrod, member of stealth Mane pack." "I'm Teo, a human." looked at the guys beside him and made a smile at me. "I'm Rudina Hart, alpha female of a howling jaws pack. Nice to meet you, Ms Hopper." Why are there so many werewolves in this class than humans? I saw the guy who helped me from the bus terminal to the school. The talkative guy? He's in this class too?

I had thought dying wolves were always ready to tell the truth on their last days but that wasn't the case. Bean Fangworth was different. That old man wouldn't tell a word. He wouldn't even mind if his son got hurt while protecting the secret, nothing could change his mind. "Will you just tell me the truth?" I yelled. My wolf pushed again in anger, wanting to seize control. My claws were begining to hurt his hand which I held. I watched him shook in pain. "I know nothing," He yelled. "You know can you just stop pretending, I know you do," I yelled getting frustrated by his behavior already.
