Wolf Bait Novels & Stories

My hearing is not as sharp as the other wolves but i can hear their conversation remotely. “He really left.” One of the guy said. “I tried mind l**k him and he is no longer connected.” Eaton is leaning by the door with his arms crossed in front of his chest. “I’m going to run after him just in case.” Adrian implied. “No.” Eaton said cutting him off. “We treat him as any other rogue. I do not need any betrayer in my pack.” As i listen more of their conversation, the more i feel sick to my stomach. They haven’t said any names but deep inside, i feel like i know who they are talking about.

I found that Anchor deep down and held tight. Vael pushed. It was nothing like I imagined. Not a weight from outside, but something slick, cold, threading through the room’s energy, hunting for cracks, for weaknesses. Patient. Precise. Relentless. My wolf went wild. “Not your wolf,” Vael said, calm as ever. “The Anchor. Hold the Anchor. Let your wolf howl, she won’t target him.” I forced my focus away from my wolf and back to that solid foundation under everything. The pressure climbed. I felt the bonds straining, Killian stiffen through it, Lorenzo going rigid on my right.

She wondered who it was for—a version of herself someplace downstream, or maybe Vale, if he one day grew curious about the mother who raised him with so little sentiment, so much raw belief. In the dead heat of Henbit Summer, a wolf was spotted on the edge of the city’s green ring. Not a child, not a boy, but a literal wolf, gray and rangy and collared in a way that suggested someone’s failed science project or an escape from the east end’s splicing pits. The Market feeds ran with it for days, some swearing that it stalked Vale’s path through the city, some saying it meant rebellion, some branding it a bad omen. Vale said nothing. But on the last night of the month, when she found him home f

The kind of wonder that comes after too many days of silence. I sit up slowly, turning toward Kael. He’s still asleep, one arm thrown over the edge of the bed, dark hair mussed, lips parted slightly. He looks human like this—unguarded, almost gentle. The mark on his chest glows faintly where the blanket doesn’t cover it, pulsing in rhythm with mine. Violet hums low. ‘You feel it too, don’t you?’ I swallow. ‘The bond?’ ‘The truth.’ Her voice deepens, carrying that primal certainty that only a wolf could have. ‘He’s your mate.’

***** The clearing was alive with the glow of torches and the mumurs of the pack gathering for the pre cleansing ceremony. My nerves was bubbling beneath my calm facade,I smoothed down my simple white dress nervously. Tonight is my chance to silence the whispers,to prove my worth. But as I stepped forward,my father,Beta Frank, blocked my path. His cold eyes sent a chill down my spine. “You are not going”,his voice was loud enough for nearby pack members to hear. I froze,”Father, what are you talking about?,The cleansing…. “For wolves,”,my father interrupted, his sharp voice cutting me like blade,”You have no wolf Lea,you are unworthy of this ritual”.

The wind whipped around us as if the forest is confirming. “Why can’t we smell that he was a wolf? Even a rogue born wolf has a scent after death.” Elara questions, and Walt scoffs again, like she missed an easy question on a test. She stiffens next to me, but gives no other indication that she heard him. Copyright ©️ 2025 Miss L Writes and Ember Mantel Productions

I lay on the gas, make a couple jumps and I’m close enough. I raise the gun back up and line up my sights when I see something beyond the rogue. It’s a territory marker. Shit. We’ve reached the pack lands. I can’t risk the shot now. My only hope is to keep chasing him in case he turns back and gives me another chance. Maybe I can turn him around if I get a good enough angle on him. I’d be screwed if one of my shots ended up hitting one of the pack wolves. Normal tranquilizers won’t do anything but these are special. Made specifically to knock out the wolf side and put the human side to sleep. No wolf means no extra strength, speed, or increased healing capabilities. Much easier to work with

The van carrying Talan overturns as Talan comes back to life to continue his rampage. Meanwhile, after becoming increasingly ill, Gavin investigates the Gwynek residence and ends up killing Mrs. Gwynek after coming to realize that he now has the same affliction as Talan. Talan moves to attack Kate next, but Gavin arrives to battle the other werewolf. The fight ends when Gavin strangles Talan, presumably killing him.

Maxim immediately turned and locked our eyes, again pressure, but this time anger began to appear in me, trying not to betray my feelings, she asked: “Maybe you’ll ask your question already, alpha, and won’t you press me to the ground with your strength?” he chuckled. - At first I thought you were drinking a decoction or infusion. I honestly don't know much about these things, but now...Vallia are you wearing an artifact? At these words, I was alarmed: - Why do you think so? - For a werewolf with a more sensitive sense of smell, this will be obvious. - Smell? I don't understand.

He was almost falling over himself. Alistair circled carefully, his tail flagged behind him. Gary had kidnapped Jenna, kept her locked in a cage. The white wolf bared his teeth in a menacing snarl. Gary drugged her so she couldn't fight. He raped her over and over and then made her submit to him in front of his pack. The growl started deep in his chest and became louder as he thought of the tortures his mate had endured.
