They announced. The young cub prince of the dawn pack, whose first name was given to him by his mother, Ramsey. A wolf name which meant “new beginnings.” She knew why she called him this, because it signified many new beginnings for her and her mate, it’s a name that made them forget about the pain of the past, and look towards a brighter future for every single one of them. **********

In the old books, written by the ancestors, they say that the Primary colors identified the wolf's area of greatest activity: blue meant speed, yellow strength and red agility and intelligence, thus considered the power of leadership. - Why then do most omegas have blue eyes? - Miley asks. - I don't know if you already know, but there are 5 denominations for wolves: Alpha, Beta, Delta, Omega and solitary. Formerly the letters of the Greek alphabet were to identify the strength of the wolf and the lonely only to identify that being was a deserter. Currently Alpha and Beta are professions, Delta is just to say that that wolf is common, with nothing special, and Omega has become any wolf that d

“What’s with that reaction? I just wanted to know your wolf’s name since I am naming my wolf, but I can’t figure out what to name her.” Lucella coughed and then cleared her throat. “Umm. Zeve, do you know what it means when two people share their wolf’s names?” She asked. “Umm… does it mean something? Isn’t it like introducing one another?” I tilted my head, completely clueless. She sighed, “not in our pack. You know, talking about one’s wolf is a very personal and sensitive matter in Arginieth. No one talks about their wolf to the other, not even to their life partners or parents.”

I want you to stay by the queen's side during combat, and from there try your best. - I will do that, sir. - Logan, I owe the size of the Golden Pack to your wolf, but I don't know its name. Don't tell me his name is Green? The special young wolves laugh. - No sir, he's not called green. - So not everyone has obvious names. – he says, laughing. - I'm sorry to disappoint you, my king. – he says with a smile – My Wolf's name is Jade. - Jade, like the green jade stone? I surrender. Your wolves are really special. – he says laughing. – you can make the space bigger, but I have a very serious question to ask you. When it comes to space, do you just increase it?

Pausing again and scrubbing his hands over his face, he then asked: “What is the name of your wolf? What do you know about her?” “Her name is Inanna, and I honestly don’t know much except that she is a very strong and capable wolf. She has never given me anymore and I have never asked. Why?” I was curious to know why my wolf's name was so important. My father, the king, and Beta Michael had already searched prophecy books trying to find out why my wolf and I are so strong and nothing was ever found. I told Wilson just as much. “Inanna, Inanna, Inanna.” He repeated while rubbing his chin.

"Just . . . some packs expressing doubt about dealing with Forest Trails once I . . . never mind." My heart aches for her. "They'll learn," I say softly. "Just like I learned that strength comes in many forms." She manages a smile. "Maybe. Anyway, Mom wants to know if you've chosen a name yet?" "Maya," I say, touching my stomach. "It means 'brave warrior.'" "Perfect." Rhett nuzzles my mark. "Like her mother." The hall fills as pack members arrive for the feast. I watch them interact - Glass Lake and Forest Trails wolves mingling easily, accepting Finley's quiet authority as she handles last-minute details.

She seemed to be calming down, a bit anyway. "The Wolf Moon was named by the indigenous peoples of this continent hundreds of years ago. They called it that because in the winter they heard the wolf packs howling around their villages. Little did they know the full moon in the darkest part of winter held great power for us." She seemed to forget her fears for the moment as they spoke. Rhys thought maybe it would be best to continue the discussion in private. "Why don't we talk about everything that will happen tomorrow so it won't seem so foreign to you." He held his hand out, waiting for her to take hold.

"You keep saying 'we,' like you're speaking for all of them." *I am the eldest of what remains,* the wolf said. *In the old tongue, my name would mean little to you now. Your ancestors called me Vasha.* "Vasha," Aurora repeated. "Okay. Vasha, if he comes back — and it sounds like everyone agrees he will — what happens then? You said the army needs more time to finish waking."

Taking a moment, I recollected a passage from the letter… ------------------------------ Little Wolf, That’s what we used to call you, so we didn’t accidentally expose your name before the naming ceremony - little wolf. With all the information I’ve supplied, albeit it’s not a lot, I know it’s just enough for you to find your way to the village and our pack. I know you’ll make your way there as soon as possible to get answers.

He’d explained he kept his name because wolves have a superstition that carrying the name of pack members who died in tragedy is bad luck. It’s said to bind you to their misfortune, repeating their mistakes and calling the same end down on your own bloodline. Most packs believe it’s better to leave such names to rest with the dead, letting their story close instead of carrying it forward. Ryder doesn’t fully believe it, but Ronnie was adamant that his parents would not want him tempting fate by carrying their name.
