The desire for revenge was present in that energy. " And today we have a new addition. One of her favorites joined us. She abandoned him too. " The leader gave a malignant and sarcastic laugh as he looked with his vibrant golden eyes at Karim. "Akiner. Akiner. Akiner." The ancestral wolves shouted their leader’s name, howling and howling as he leaped from his platform. As he passed, his followers received him with obeisance and howl. He went to Karim. His golden eyes looked at him as easy prey. But the alpha was not.

Is this really what I'm thinking? How dare he even?! While Ian was dragging me towards the exit from the house, I realized that my speculations were the most correct. Ian is stronger than Rinat. He just took what he wanted, and a werewolf has no right to refuse a dominant wolf. This is the law of the pack. Even though the rule of the strongest has not been used for a very, very long time, no one has canceled it. Vadim stood in the aisle of the dining room. There was a hint of gloating in the eyes of the beta of the gray wolf clan, although outwardly he looked absolutely indifferent to what was happening.

“Base Rank. The most common. These wolves have ordinary energy. They make up most of the packs — workers, scouts, healers, and laborers. Strong in their own right, but not made for battle.” He moved to the next. “Core Rank. These are trained fighters, guards, or soldiers. Their wolves are faster, sharper, more responsive to command. Core wolves form the backbone of most armies.” Then his hand moved down the board. “Elite Rank. Rare and powerful. Elites are born leaders, often gifted in either strength, speed, or heightened senses. Most members of the royal council, generals, and the academy’s instructors are Elites.” He paused, looking at the final word — Sovereign.

Onyx chuckled loudly, "Awe, that's cute! Are you trying to flex your chest muscles?" I instantly deflated. I’m the pack gamma, and responsible for caring for everything involving our pack's well being and pups, but in our pod, I was the lowest ranking wolf. Even though Onyx is a Delta and Deltas and Gammas are essentially all the same - pack warriors, Delta's are the elite and fiercest warriors of the pack, and Onyx is the top Delta, just as I am the top Gamma. Where I was skilled and an expert in pack defenses, Onyx was skilled, the stealthiest wolf in the realm and the top war advisor to the King. He is an elite strategist on his own level and I know I can’t compete with that.

He was an Omega in one of the packs that would be joining us later in the week, the Red Opal pack, and – guessing from his mate’s scars – she was a warrior wolf. When a wolf mates, they ascend to whatever the highest ranking status is out of the two of them. This was fortunate for me, as it meant that I couldn’t drop lower than a Beta. Some thought that this was outrageous, as on multiple occasions wolves had moved from being Omegas to Alphas or Lunas.

“Haha, that’s funny. Do you know why there are rankings within a wolf pack, father?”. If looks could kill, I would be dead right now. But before he can respond, I continue. “They are there to determine the level of strength, top-down, with the sole purpose of identifying who can best protect the rest of the pack. As the beta couple, you should be the strongest in this pack after the Alpha bloodline. So, why is it mom’s duty to plan a f*cking party, while she should be one of the strongest wolves out here to protect everyone else?”.

To make eye contact, Eugene moves to each child before he starts. “Future warriors, welcome! I'm your Alpha, and I appreciate you all being here on time. It highlights your commitment to becoming a member of a famous pack. You all know we're omegas; we're the lowest rank in a wolf pack. Giving in to any force is not an option. “We’re the River Rock Pack, a very well-known pack,” Eugene said.

Diana The Werewolf Council has established a comprehensive education mandate for all wolf pups, regardless of their social standing. This rule ensures that every young werewolf receives at least a basic education, with the level of schooling varying based on their class within the pack hierarchy. At the top, Alpha and Beta offspring naturally receive the most extensive education. Gamma wolves, known for their superior strength and destined to become pack warriors, along with Delta wolves of ordinary strength, both receive education equivalent to college level. While Gammas typically focus on combat training, Deltas have the freedom to specialize in various fields. These two classes form the

She had a mane of wild brown and gold curls, and tanned skin, I couldn’t see her face but I nervously unfolded the note. “Rank?” Was all the note said and my stomach sank. This pack was entirely built on a ranking system, my aunt had spent the drive home from the airport explaining it, there was the elite tier, the best of the best, Alpha Abel held that spot, along with his beta and another warrior. After that there was the gold tier, this tier had 5 in each rank, gold 1, gold 2, and gold 3 for a total of 15 gold wolves. The silver tier was made up of 60 wolves, 20 in each rank. Bronze tier was where a majority of wolves ranked, it was made up of 150 wolves, 50 in each rank. And lastly there
