He shook his head as he lowered and gently picked up the sword lieing on the floor. Blake and the family alerted Nina,however the force field didn't put their voice through. He raised the sword and tried to place through her but Nina ducked,held the blade of the sword and pushed through his already ripped out heart. The hilt went in instead of the blade. I aggressively clawed at his throat until it turned to ashes. I drew the sword from my side and tossed it to the ground, allowing Ghost to quickly heal us before resuming the fight, but nothing happened. I wasn’t healing, and my legs were suddenly becoming weaker. I slumped backward, leaning against the wall. My vision was blurry, and my hands trembled. I couldn't figure out what was going on with me. “G-G-Ghost, what’s going on?” I stuttered as I spat blood from my mouth. “Wol-wolfsbane… Because the sword was laced with wolfsbane, it’s difficult to heal us,” Ghost said, her voice filled with fear and disappointment.

I must admit, it’s such a stupid thing to be going after an unknown ghostly voice that i do not even recognize. My head turned to where the indistinct voice was coming from. My feet involuntarily move backwards towards the front door of the house that now feels so incredibly far from where I am. My eyes widened as I stared into 2 big yellow eyes that just appeared under the dark shadows of the trees. I could hear a low growl coming out from the big wolf. I have never seen this wolf before in my life but I have a strong feeling that he doesn’t belong here.

It was a sensation I had never felt before. I found the dagger on the ground and picked it up to examine it. Under the bright red of my blood, was an inky black substance that I hadn’t noticed during the fight. I lifted the blade closer to my nose to see if I could smell what it was. The acrid scent burned my nostrils and my wolf recoiled inside. Wolfsbane. I let out a shaky breath. With wolfsbane, the wound would never heal on its own. I needed to flush it out and stitch it as soon as possible. I looked towards the direction of the palace, wondering if I could make it there on foot and find Lucia.

I followed his gaze and felt my eyes widen in surprise. Wolf after wolf began to make an appearance, trotting towards us slowly before stopping a good ten feet away from us. We all watched in surprise as the crowd began to grow bigger and thicker as many continued to howl and growl at the sky. Many vibrant coloured furs surrounded us. From black to brown to white and grey, all these wolves stood tall before us until we couldn't even make out where the crowd ended. Then they all began to part and make way for this one specific wolf, who was as tall as Axil and wore the same-coloured fur. I immediately knew who it was.

As I stood there with my two blades in front of all the wolves, they knew that they had to avoid the silver at all costs, and they were going for all the shifted wolves instead. One wolf tried to get past me and I dragged my sword along his torso as he tried to run past me and he started bleeding profusely and he whimpered as he fell to the ground and he couldn’t get up again. Our wolves and their wolves crashed head on into each other, with the loudest clash that was almost ear piercing.
