I thought she was shifting back to her human form but instead, she reshaped into something crossed between a wolf and a Lycan, with long back legs, bent beneath her, short rounded ears, black fur coating her arms, legs, and face, like she was partially shifted but on all fours. A white stripe across her glowing green eyes illuminated like emeralds under the moon.

Melody barked, “He did this.” A devilish grin stretched across my face as I released him. Thomas dropped to the ground with a thud, splashing in the puddle of mud.
