, she said and followed me to the living room, I pulled her into a warm embrace before leaving the house. "Be fine Violet", I said before I moved to the car and drove off, the distance to the doctor's place is about one hour from the house. I got to Dr. Jones Vet office and went in, it was quite easy to gain access into the place, I heard groanings from inside the main theatre and went in, I saw Ansel all soiled in blood. "How's he doing now?", I asked. "Things are not so good right now, the wolfsbane is a very deadly one, of rare specie but let's trust Dr. Jones and his team", he replied.

After studying them for two weeks, we were able to learn about their positions. “That was quick,” I remarked after Tina knocked the two wolves out by kicking one with her foot as she manoeuvred the second one after grabbing him by the hand, led him against the wall and hit his head against it. Though her actions weren’t enough to keep them down, they were werewolves after all, we’ve both realised they carry shots of wolfsbane with them in what looked like a sachet attached to their waist, Tina just needed to steal it which we managed to successfully do because it was the first thing I grabbed on them as they tried checking us for the problem after suspecting we’ve been poisoned. “How on eart

Manchalla replied, touching the darker blood with the tip of his finger and staring at it in the dim light from the window. Something worst than wolfsbane? Zane thought. What could be worst than wolfsbane? For centuries, the wolfsbane has been the Hunter's favorite weapon, and the jackals' greatest enemy. It weakens the wolves when used on them and can kill the weaker ones, especially when it's not swiftly treated. There has been no wolf - poison greater than the wolfsbane. So, what was Manchalla talking about? What else could be worst? "You need to make yourself more understable, Manchalla" Zane said. "What could be worst than wolfsbane?"

Roman cussed but still tried to come to terms with the plan “It worked didn’t it? Not in the way I planned but nobody got hurt so it’s a win win” Lucas got up from the couch and headed to the mini bar for another drink “Sorry if I’m not catching up” Harley chuckled confusedly “but what is wolfs bane” “It’s like plant, also known as aconite and it’s pretty dangerous to werewolves. It can weaken or shut down the whole system once it gets to the heart.” Lucas explained while pouring himself another glass of bourbon

CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR: The hours following Rafe's departure, I reminisce on his words. "It's used only for the worst of the worst wolf criminals," he said, his voice low and serious. "It destabilizes and weakens them, blocking their ability to communicate with their wolves. When a wolf consumes wolfsbane, they're essentially stripped of their powers, left as vulnerable as a human.”

The first chapter was about how Wolfsbane was formed, and he read to himself. "Wolfsbane, also known as aconite, is known to suppress natural scents. Used historically to inhibit the scent of wolves. Symptoms of use include..." Damon kept reading. The book mentioned that rogues were the common users of Wolfsbane as they used it to hide their scent from other wolves who hunt them. But why would- A sound made Damon look up. Talia was muttering something in her sleep, her face was scrunched up like she was having a bad dream.

“I can't believe that you're on your feet. A few weeks ago, you were writhing on the bed.” He shrugged. “Well, I'm fine. Wolfsbane can do that to you.” “Not just any wolfsbane,” my father said, dropping a file on the desk between us. “That… is a report from the scientists who say that the wolfsbane is a special kind of wolfsbane. It not only affects wolves, it also affects lycans, and is strong enough to kill any wolf and lycan it comes in contact with. That means that you, Kaelan and anybody else who might have come in contact with this needs to be in isolation. We need to find out a way to create a cure.”

“Try keeping one or two alive. We need answers.” “Easier said than done,” my brother snapped back while fighting. “These idiots are suicidal.” A rogue launched toward one of our warriors only to get thrown sideways into a tree hard enough to crack the trunk. Nyx growled low. “Something smells wrong.” I slowed slightly. “What do you mean?” “Wolfsbane.” My eyes narrowed instantly. “Damn it.” Wolfsbane weakened wolves dramatically if inhaled or injected. Slowed healing. Suppressed strength. Too much exposure could stop a wolf from shifting entirely. Which meant this attack had planning behind it.

Phoebe Wolfsbane. Ms. Tina was explaining its effects on us werewolves. As I already knew, wolfsbane is incredibly debilitating to our kind. Yet, its existence serves a purpose in human industries, so we can’t just wipe it off the face of the earth. From a distance, I could feel Finley’s gaze darting between Tyra and me, like he was monitoring us. It was unnerving, the constant tapping of his pen on the desk matching the rhythm of my heartbeat as I waited for the lunch bell.

I was appalled. "yes and because of that, her wolf went into a deep slumber. I don't know when she will show her presence." She mumbled "Wolfsbane has been giving to her for 1 month? Due to wolfsbane, a wolf goes into a deep sleep and not only this, wolfbane is like a poison which is slowly killing the wolf. It's so painful for a wolf and it's given to her continuously for 1 month… it must be so painful for her" I felt an arch in my heart.
