The engine turned over and David started backing up. A loud thud sounded as something smashed into the side of the van. Clara glanced out the window and saw the black wolf she used to love playing with snarl and throw himself against her door. "Drive fast." The wolf started shifting back to Lucas, but he wasn't quick enough. David slammed on the accelerator and the van took off. Clara closed her eyes, promising she wouldn't open them until there was no chance Lucas would be in the rearview mirror.

Lucas tried to explain to Chad. "What happens when you snap? Do you recognize what's going on between your Wolf and human?" Chad asked, suddenly curious. "My human gets angry at what it wants to, which works up my Wolf. After that my Wolf gets stronger the more my human gets angry. If I get too angry, my Wolf craves blood, flesh, death. My human tries to reason with my Wolf. Usually it does the trick, but there are times, like last night, that my Blood Wolf comes out. If that happens, it's all over for those who provoke me. There are rare times my human prevails, but at great cost to my human." Lucas looked down, ashamed.

I took a deep breath and continued, “But I do have one favor to ask. Can I please have some wolfsbane?” She looked back up, meeting my eyes, studying me, and cocking her head to the side. While she was human, Hugo told me that she knew about our kind. He and my mom were not the only werewolves she employed. “What do you need wolfsbane for?” “It’s personal.” I wasn’t telling her shit. “What form do you want it in?” “What forms does it come in?” “The two most common are dehydrated and a concentrated liquid—usually we sell the liquid form in darts.”

Brandon, a red-colored wolf wondered, he was Aiden’s age at ninety-six years old, and could not help the curiosity. “She’s human!” Martha, a dirty blonde-colored wolf cried in alarm. “Disgusting!” Vanessa, a dark brown colored wolf cried, causing Aiden’s wolf to snap at her and she yelped. His jaws viciously snapped together in an effort to close around her leg. Others exclaimed in alarm, confusion, anger, and concern and there were even a few in disgust. Aiden’s wolf began to growl lowly at all of them, feeling very defensive of his mate. Especially after he attacked Vanessa in anger at her comment.

Sleek and white. The crowd cheered as she circled me,her growls low and menacing. I clenched my fists, feeling the faint stir of my wolf beneath my skin. “She's weak.” Ethan growled behind me “ she doesn't belong here, and never will.” His words were like fuel to flame. Rage overwhelmed me,and I felt the fire of my wolf ignite once more. I closed my eyes, praying that my wolf will answer me,and this time, she did. Power surged through me,and when I opened my eyes, the crowd gasped. My red fur shimmered,my claws extended like sharp blades.

Diesel said, knowing she couldn’t hear him. We are about half way home when I see six regular wolves come out from the trees ahead of us. Well, regular with the exception of their red glowing eyes. They are mangy looking and growling. They look just like the wolves that had attacked at Lexi’s house. I link my warriors and Lexi’s guardians. “ We have demonic wolves on the grounds. I have Lexi and Aiden with me. We need backup in case more show up. Protect Lexi, your Luna at all cost.” I said. I gave them the rough location of us then lowered myself to the ground. Lexi didn’t need to be told she just got down. “ Diesel, these are like the wolves I fought before. And there is more behind us. Th

The small vial shimmered with a distant cerulean hue, illuminated by the light of the sporadic lighting. My eyes widened at the sight of the vial. It was known as the Wolf’s Bane—the potent bane of our kind, capable of weakening even the greatest wolf. My heart pounded. How was Boris able to obtain Wolf's Bane? And how did he manage to bring it into the Games without getting caught?

“He wants us to meet him.” “I heard” Rygan cut off with a grunt, and I knew that Rygan did not trust him after what had been done. “I don’t think we should go; he put you and Ethan’s lives at harm; El is still sick; that poison in his system; that look in his eyes; it has to be wolfsbane and just random. I stiffened from his words. Wolfsbane was sure to all be burned and extinct from the wolf realm; it was more deadly than its predecessor, Vardnom, whose second name is known as the'mad drug'. I felt cold terror fill my veins.

I slowly sat down on the ground even though it was hard. The black wolf attacked Reginald, he move backward to avoid the attacked, they’re running from the distance and for an instance Reginald attacked the black wolf using his talons from his paws. Uncounted attacked that he made and he bite the enemy to the neck. Wanted to get rid of the black wolf from him but Reginald was stronger he didn't give the enemy a chance to retaliate until the black wolf gradually lost consciousness and the black wolf bathing on his own blood to the ground. It looks like his head will be detached to his neck.

A disembodied voice, emanating from a small speaker held aloft by another reporter. "This is Wolf's Bane," the voice boomed, laced with an unsettling coldness. "The destruction of Wolfe Medical was just the first step. We will not allow werewolves to continue to propogate and spread their curse." I looked at Xavier. "Wolf's Bane?" "Another terrorist group?" Amira groaned. "Again?" Xavier chuckled. "The lycan version of Blood Moon, and way more organized." The fear that had been simmering within me since the explosion intensified, coiling around my heart like a serpent.
