Wolverine And The X-men Logan Novels & Stories

The prophecy was confusing, the last bit of it where it asked ‘or must it end this way? It sounded like something could have averted all these wars in the first place. “Can you explain? I have no clue what it meant.” “The battle you fight, do you know why?” she asked. “The enemy you fight, what is his goal? Is there a force that drives him to do it?” Apart from madness, another force that drove Logan to do these were desire to be immortal and the extinction of all werewolfs. But if I was to look at it critically, Logan wasn’t stupid. He showed it times without number.

Logan commanded. "Oh, the cave!" He laughed a raspy laugh that sounded a lot like a snake hissing. "That has been my hideout for so many months now. The only reason nobody in this pack has ever discovered the cave is that nobody can! Only those who have the tattoo, and those in whose veins flow the blood of the Rogue Pack can see or enter the cave. That was why Logan was able to see and enter, because his mom was a Rogue Wolf, and his mother's blood runs in his veins."

My throat makes a sound that isn’t human. Lia’s hand closes over mine, forcing my fingers around it. “Keep it. We can track meaning from it later. Right now we live.” We spill back into the corridor as footsteps thunder above and begin to pour down the stairs. More wolves. More bodies than we brought. Logan’s men fan out, forming a moving wall. A rogue appears at the far end, eyes flashing. Logan doesn’t hesitate, he shifts. The change is brutal and silent, his wolf exploding into the corridor like a black storm. Two of his men shift as well, wolf forms sliding into place with lethal ease.

But for now, all he could do was sit there, staring at the closed door, feeling the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him like never before. Logan sat alone in his study, the only sound the crackling of the fire in the hearth. He rubbed his temples, trying to dispel the headache that had been building all day. His mind kept drifting back to Andrea, the human girl he had kidnapped, who was somehow his fated mate. How could the Moon Goddess pair him, an alpha, with a human? His thoughts were interrupted by a soft voice in his mind. *"You can't hate her, Logan. She's our mate."* It was Alex, his wolf, ever the voice of reason when Logan's emotions ran high.

Werewolves have better genes and accelerated regeneration, but specific injuries require time and drugs to heal fully. "Because you care about them," Logan revealed as he walked closer to the glass, showing me his now-healing side covered in blisters and ointment. "It's a message that he's afraid of you. You're a threat to him, and that's why he needs to show you what you stand to lose if you insist on going against him using Luna's Law. He is too afraid to face you, so he will harm the innocent who you hold dear." He looked at me with his warm gray eyes and smiled gently.

One of the women whispered something to another, and though her tone was low, Logan’s sharp wolf-hearing picked every word. “They don’t look normal,” she muttered, her gaze sliding nervously toward Xavier. “Too clean. Too… good-looking. Like they’re pretending to be what they’re not.” “They’re probably rich,” the other answered quickly, though her voice carried unease. “Just do your work.” Logan caught every murmur, every suspicious glance. But he said nothing. His expression remained stone, giving no hint that he’d overheard. Let them wonder. As long as they kept silent, it didn’t matter.

I didn't want to imagine what Logan was about to do. “Logan moon.” He growled, “You are going beyond your boundary.” “Beyond my boundary?”Logan chuckled. “You seem to be the one doing that?” Both men growled at eachother and their eyes began to glow. “She’s mine.” Logan growled. “She’s my mate.” Xavier groaned. I held my head tightly as I watched both men argue. My head began to spin. “Tell them the truth.” Mom whispered to me. I stared at her and she nodded giving me the assurance that she was with me.

Dave warned his little sister, walking away. "I'd never allow Loki to treat me like that." She whispered walking to her room. Needing a drink, Lucas headed to a bar in Lunari lands, Lucas was on his 3rd whiskey. His eyes burning into his drink, as if it would burst into flames at his will. Anyone who walked by and looked at him, could see the gears in his head turning, and left him alone, aside from one wolf, a ghost wolf from his past and present, left him alone.

Once he’s tucked in, he chuckles and says, “This makes me feel old, sweetheart. But I can’t say I don’t like it.” “Don’t get used to it,” Logan says shamelessly. “She’s my daughter first, kid,” he counters. “Goodnight, Dad. I’ll get the noise out.” I meet Logan’s eyes and point outside without saying a word. He smirks before obeying, mouthing ‘only you’. “Sure you’ll be okay, sweetheart?” he asks, though he’s already closed his eyes. “Trust me, Dad. City wolves are tough, too,” I reply confidently. --CC_GN--
