Lola POV I check the wind and it seems to be blowing in another direction than right at him, so I should be okay for now. I don’t recognize the wolf and I recognize all of our warriors and ranked wolves. The fur on this wolf is a bit sticky here and there, it doesn’t look well groomed, so I am assuming this is a rogue. My first ever rogue encounter and it has to be when I am in a badly beaten state, probably unable to defend myself. F*ck. “Try to keep calm and collected Lola” I whisper to myself whilst watching the rogue sniffing around thoroughly on the ground where I had laid a few minutes ago. My mind is already working overtime thinking what would have happened if I had still laid there

I winced and coughed a little, and the guy cackled like a drug addict with a free dose. ‘She looks tasty,’ blurted Rogue Two. And they started ogling after me, staring through my clothes from my toes and up to my breasts. A dirty finger tipped my chin and two lascivious eyes held mine. ‘We haven’t had a runaway for quite some time, haven’t we, mutts?’ Rogue one sniggered and his mutts followed. I jogged after her and quickly gave a heavy blow to the rogue’s nose, making it stumble a few feet away while bleeding. “And you don’t need to be a pervert just to show that you do.” With a sigh, she rolled her eyes and easily grabbed the werewolf rogue’s throat before tearing it apart. That’s hot but not surprising. “Why do I feel like I’m missing the old Roxanne now?” I teasingly mumbled as I grabbed the arms of the rogue coming at me before doing a backflip while ripping its arms from its body. “I heard that.” I heard Roxanne, making me flinch as I realized that our thoughts finally connected.

So, we sneaked into the neighboring pack and their Alpha’s room. “Remind me why we are doing this again?’ She moved closer, and as the Alpha got up to attack her, I came to her defense and sent him back to sleep. Then we wrote the word ‘loser’ on his face. As we stepped out, we were attacked by some of his men, but we took them down effortlessly. The big difference that sets a rogue apart from a werewolf is that rogues don’t usually have much to lose and fight to the death. We escaped, laughing our asses off as we fell on the clear grass near our pack, looking up at the half-moon in the sky.

I began. The both of them tensed, even Claire looked up to face me. The tension in the air was so thick, one could cut it with a knife. I had to explain quickly. And so, I explained to the both of them everything that had happened yesterday. And what I had learned from his phone. Even Claire, who was still gaining knowledge of werewolves, did her best to understand. "So you're telling me. They thought you were easy because you were a rogue, and made a bet with Aiden, their human friend, to sleep with you?" Claire asked, sitting beside me on the bed, the quiet anger in her voice not going unnoticed.

I lost everything then I lost the only person I had left in the world. “And now she is yours. She is your mate now. Things change Logan and you need to at least give it a try. She seems nice and polite.” Flavia had not glanced at Rogue girl even once. She had no idea what Rogue girl looked like. Such pure anger railed through me and I squeezed harder, drawing from Flavia to hold it down. My wolf was clawing at me. Such pure anger poured to my own and made me act out.

Lucca grabbed the smaller rogue swiftly around the neck and lifted him off his feet. “Shit! Alpha!” He gasped, as he began kicking and fighting for his life. I could see Enzo flickering for control, so I quickly walked beside the raging Alpha and shoved my nose into his freehand. “We need answers boys.” I very gently scolded my mate. But he reined himself in, his voice cold and even as he growled, “Leave my mate and pup out of this. Let's settle this like Alphas. You and I, one on one.” The rogue only laughed coldly, the sound mocking as he sneered at Cassian's proposal. “I didn't come here to defeat you, Alpha Cassian. I came to annihilate you, to avenge every rogue you've brutalized. And I know you're all too familiar with the agony of losing a mate... but the pain of losing your precious pup? That's a fresh hell you've yet to experience.” Fear coiled in my stomach like a living thing, its icy grip squeezing tight everything inside. My eyes flashed towards the rogue in a heartbeat, blazing with a fierce protectiveness.

The other one went to fight me off his friend, so I fought him too. Logan was fighting a Rogue that was about to bite into one of Olivia’s friends that seemed to be unconscious as her body laid on the ground in a weird position like someone tossed her into the tree. His growls were vicious and they were an actual threat, giving out a warning that he was fighting to kill. He pushed the other wolf away from the unconscious girl, and the two fought with all their strength. Soon, Logan jumped on top of the Rogue and bit down hard into the Rogue’s neck, ripping his throat out.
