She wanted something different, something unique and wondered what that would be. She walked back to the shelve and started searching until a huge book with black and gold edges caught her attention. She pulled out the book and it read "The Witches Spell book." She gasped and guiltily looked around the Library. She had never been able to cast spells and she had even lost whatever powers she ever had. She pondered and contemplated between reading and dropping the book but her curiosity got the better part of her and off she went with the book to one of the seats she had just cleaned.

Lora's mother had fled after giving birth to her daughter. She lifted the brick in the north corner of the room as she emptied the dungeon more carefully. "What is this book?" she inquired. The book was dusty, and the gold was almost faded, almost bronze. The title of the book was Life of the Witch. The book is about wizards and their interactions with the outer world. Lora read the book, sentence by sentence. A strange planet, yet she wished to visit it. The pages depicted a pleasant and quiet way of life. She saw herself growing up, her body perfect, producing beautiful curves with no scars, bruises, or blood flow in the corners of her lips.

It seemed like the room vanished into thin air. Warren shook his head. He already saw too much for the day. There was nothing that could surprise him anymore. Then Warren arrived in the basement of the White family again. He looked around and saw the books from earlier which he couldn't understand. The name of the first book, immediately grabbed his attention. The book was named 'The Legendary King Cole!'

"God, please send me a dictionary to understand her language. Please, have mercy on your beloved child." * * * "This. No. This one, but I like the synopsis of this book, but this book came last month and it has been on my TBR for a long time." Huffing, I brushed my finger to another book. "What about this? It's about a time traveler." I got another from the shelf, read the synopsis and my mouth formed an O. "Wow. Twisted Alice in Wonderland story?" I placed both the books on Kabir's hand. "This on aliens. Which one should I buy? They all are so appealing."

I flipped the second page open and began reading. “After finding his mate and claiming her as his, the alpha moved to make it known under the crimson moon.” Though I had a foggy mind while reading the first sentence, my mind put the words together to make sense. This was a werewolf lore book just like the ones I’ve devoted myself to reading in the last week, but unlike those, this was a children’s book. I snapped it shut, got up, and hurried away from Zion’s room. I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed.

And she saw a glimmer of hope, a sense that Maya might be the only one who could help her. With a sense of trepidation, Maya opened the book and began to read. As Maya read the book, she felt a strange energy coursing through her veins. The words on the pages seemed to come alive, and she felt like she was being transported to a different time and place. It defied everything he had drilled into my mind about the necessity of a wand for magic. A burning curiosity consumed me. Could magic truly be wielded without a wand, or was that an anomaly? I felt a surge of determination to unravel this mystery, to understand the depths of my newfound abilities and the untapped potential that lay within. The stolen book held the key, and I was eager to unlock the secrets of magic that had been denied to me for far too long.

That's strange. "This book, I can feel it now. It's no ordinary book, there's something very strange, no rather unique about this book. I feel a strong energy radiating from it and it's creating some kind of connection with me. We have to find out what it is, this feeling is so surreal." Tara said and this only got me more excited. I knew there was a reason why I'd picked the book in the first place. "The book doesn't even have a title, are you sure you want to read it? What if it's some really scary horror story that'll cause you to have terrible nightmares after you read it?" Kayden questioned and I threw him a look that depicted. 'Seriously?'

“What the bloody hell is that?” I moved away from Ryker, my eyes were solely fixated on the book. Wiping away the shattered glasses, I did not care if it would hurt me. Once it was clean, I read the book to Ryker. “It is the Book of The Damned.” All I wanted was to get a hold of that book and satisfy my curiosity but when I did, I could feel the power surging from the book, my hands were painfully attached to it. Then the book opened, forcing my palm to hold it up the pages started to flip rapidly. So many images flashed through my mind but none of which I recalled. The book slammed shut and I blinked. I turned to Ryker and swallowed before finding my voice to speak, “Did you see that?”
