He headed off, leaving me standing there.
A star. I hated the word so much now. It felt like that was all I could ever amount to in their eyes. I looked at the school building and felt nothing but a cold, hollow pressure. I used to love hockey but after the amount of pressure placed on me, that joy was dead.
I started walking, my head down, and I wasn't paying attention until I slammed hard into someone’s shoulder.
