Word Count For A Novel Novels & Stories

Hi, guys! I just want to leave this note before I locked any chapters. You might start wondering why some chapters will have like part I, part II and so on. It's just that my word count every chapter cannot be shorter than 2000 word count so I have to divide it in order for you to be able to pay it in lesser coins. Anyway, thank you for reaching this part. If you haven't commented or given me reviews and you are reading my book, I hope you do so because your comments fuels me.

We have come to the end, and while it is a bit abrupt, I’d like to clarify some things. The book is already at 290 thousand plus words, I was really worried about its readability because anything longer would probably scare readers off. I don’t know how everything usually operates because I am a mildly new author on the platform and this is my first completed book, but it felt like Luna Scarlett was getting long, and if I was to go further into settling some other points in the story….. It’d have been way longer. Now to pick up some of the points I left unfilled in the story (Without giving any spoilers of course.)

I assured her. "It's been seven years. Two thousand five hundred and twenty days, approximately. That's a whole lot of time" She muttered. "You must be really smart to have all that figure in your head. You lost me at two thousand" I mumbled but Alisa seemed to have heard me cause she chuckled. "So, what novel are you reading, princess? I hope you're not a romance freak" I tried to change the subject. She chuckled. "I wouldn't call it romance. The characters lack the drive and the very essence of the book is negligible. The writer seemed to have made sex the only purpose of the characters and even at that, the scenes are very disappointing. I wouldn't even call it erotica".

He laugh. “I love you,” he says as he held my chin to make me look at him. He kissed my lips that made me smile. *** After 1 week of editing, I’m finally done with my novel. I contacted the publishing house immediately to send my whole novel to them. My novel is not that long, so my editing process didn’t take too long, plus I focused on that in order not to waste the day. The novel has 52 chapters including the prologue and epilogue.

Although we have more romance novels right now, we're slowly changing that and trying to make our platform more diverse. # How many words should I write in each chapter? We suggest you to keep your each chapter between 0.8k-1k words. This isn’t a hard and fast rule, but readers might balk at chapters that fall short or go too far over this wordcount. You can adjust your chapter's length according to your own needs.

This book is a short one with approximately 70-80 chapters. The plot is quite different from the previous book. Also, the book is not edited yet. There may be some little errors. I didn't know how true that was, and for very different reasons than I had imagined. That was the start of my Christmas vacation, but far from the end. Up to this point, I've written in excess of the required 3000 words (3212). I've also front loaded my vocabulary words. Dr. Hamilton, if you could find it in your heart to commiserate with my plight, please read no further, and grade me on what I've written so far. * * *

The story had to feel genuine and I waited until I knew it was perfect and respectful enough to write. 2. I did not know how I was going to write it. I didn't know if I wanted it to be a poem, a 50 page book, a novel, or whatever. I knew I had a message I wanted to tell, but I wanted to make the story interesting as well. So I decided to turn it into a novella, because it was not too long and it was not too short. It was the perfect length for me to create my story.
