His hands felt weak, and his legs seemed ready to collapse to the ground. "I can't believe this. How could this happen? How long has it been since the book I hold glowed like this? I begin my first journal entry. April 26h 2023 In the beginning, there was a world unlike any other. It was a world of magic and mystery, of beauty and terror, a world where anything could happen and anyone could achieve greatness. But as with all great things, there came a time when the balance was upset and the forces of darkness threatened to engulf all that was good and pure. This is the story of that world and the people who fought to save it. It is a tale of heroes and villains, of love and loss, of triumph and tragedy. It is a tale of hope and despair, of courage and cowardice, of secrets and revelations.

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

As I took small bites of my meal, my mind wandered back to the book's descriptions. When breakfast was finally over, I excused myself politely and headed back to the garden. I retrieved the book from its hiding place and found a secluded spot where I could read in peace. The more I read, the more I realized how much had been lost to history. The white wolves were not the monsters they had been made out to be. They were beings of incredible power and kindness, who had only sought to live in harmony with others.

I pulled out a book on ancient civilizations and settled into a plush armchair, losing myself in the stories of forgotten worlds. As I delved deeper into the book, my mind began to wander. I imagined myself standing amidst the ruins of ancient temples, feeling the weight of history on my shoulders. I yearned to walk the streets of foreign cities, to taste exotic cuisines, and to meet people from different walks of life. The world was vast and full of wonders, and I wanted to experience it all.

It was a domestic scene frozen in time, a reminder of the life they had almost touched. ​The "hood days" were over. The mist was rising, and the Jackals were looking. The war was followed them to the heights, and as the heavy steel doors of the vault hissed shut, Vivienne realized that peace wasn't a place you found—it was a territory you had to defend until the very end.

Only logic to choose them if it is to follow the legend. There are temples and prays, but also the talk that the gods are long gone to create other worlds. And maybe someday we’ll visit them just as we do with the human world. Though we may be visited as well by creatures just like us, who can blend into the crowd. Logic again. Uh. My restless mind and the nice wine won't let me relax for a minute. Feeling someone who flew above, made me look into the stary sky. A soft breeze ruffled my hair and I closed my eyes deepening the feeling.
