“You’re really trying to give the public something to talk about, aren’t you?”
I teased, glancing around to see if anyone was watching.
Zain chuckled, that low, infectious laugh that always did not fail to melt my heart.
He leaned in, his breath warm against my ear as he whispered
“Let them talk if they want. All I know is that I love you, Audrey. More than anything else.”
Though the words were quiet, they still hit me with the force of a shout on the rooftop.
