The door closed again, and Henry stood, walking over to the window. He closed his eyes and let the memories come. Back in college, he and Jeremiah had been roommates. Friends, even. They had built their first app in a dorm room with just two laptops and a shared dream. At the time, Henry had genuinely believed they would conquer the world together. But Jeremiah had always been two-faced. Charming to your face, ruthless behind your back. The real turning point? Henry had discovered a deal Jeremiah struck with investors behind his back. I succeeded in getting their attention "can you please get out of this place, and where are my roommates?" "roommates? this is our room, I think you were roomed with us" one of them said. "what! I was roomed with boys!!" I yelled. The guys exchanged skeptical glances, and one of them muttered under his breath, "Great, just what we need." I stood frozen in the doorway, my eyes scanning the room in horror. How could they do this to me? how can they room me with... boys. One of them, a tall, dark-haired guy with piercing blue eyes, stood up from the couch and walked towards me, a charming smile plastered on his face. "Hi, I'm Ethan," he said, stretching out his hand for a handshake.

I groaned, gagging as I pressed the faint lilac scent of my scarf into my nose and aimed the flashlight at the wreck around the room. The wood beams of the floor groaned and creaked dangerously under my feet as I took in the mess of takeout boxes and cheap, half-spilled diet Pepsi cans that were strewn across the room. “What the hell? Laura?” I wheezed, side-stepping the glinting shrapnel waiting patiently on the floor when I realized it was glass.

There were three rooms where only three people will share while the remaining rooms have four people sharing it. I will share with Marrah and Keira on the second floor. "We're roommates again, Av!" Marrah exclaimed after the game. "We're really destined to be besties!" I chuckled, "You're right. We've been roommates thrice already." Once all of us had decided on the room, we all started moving to our respective rooms. But before heading to mine, I went towards Mirco and Zen first. "Mir... Zen..." I softly called their name, but they still didn't spare me a glance.

Pizza showed up around eight. I stayed in my room and heard Jax and Luca talking through the wall. I couldn't make out words, just voices. My wolf stirred. She wanted to go out there. "No," I said firmly. She huffed and settled.

I pushed open my door and, just as he said… Two idiots were inside, arguing over a pillow like it was a cursed artifact capable of granting immortality. I closed my eyes slowly. “I’m never knowing peace again.” “Hey, love,” Zaiden called, sounding far too proud of himself for trespassing. I opened my eyes and took in the disaster, Zaiden and Zyran both sitting comfortably on my bunk like oversized cats claiming territory, Abigail fuming on hers like she wanted to drown them in acid, Inara was a burrito under her duvet, and my three other roommates? Gone. Vanished. They probably took one look at elites in our room and teleported themselves into another realm.

I would like to say I’ve been anxiously awaiting word about Wade and what happened with it all. But I’ve been a little busy. And by busy, I mean having a lot of sex. Pretty sure we’ve christened every surface in the apartment. The running tally of broken items has increased. So let’s recap. He covered his mouth that doubled the size of his fist-like eyes and whispered towards Maleficent, who was fidgeting while watching her father walked around the room. Debris was scattered on the tiled floor. The crumpled furniture laid like broken toys smashed by a child’s tantrum. The wallpapers were torn as if a werewolf visited her overnight – though she did not know if werewolves existed in the Ambivalent Dormitory.
