UNBREAK MY HEART

UNBREAK MY HEART

His face crumbled into a hard frown and with a bit of hesitation, he said, “Thanks, man…Hey Jeff, I was wondering if you'd know a couple of ghostwriters. Very good ones that follow strict NDA Contracts.” There was silence for a second as Jeff processed the words and Wesley held his breath in anticipation. With a chuckle, Jeff asked “What the hell do you need a ghostwriter for? You're like the king of writing.” Immediately, Wesley answered. “Not me.” he faked a laugh “It's for an associate of mine. He asked me to ghostwrite a good book for him but I've been quite occupied with my work. I'm trying to help a friend.” Before Jeff could respond, he added “But you know what, let's talk about this

"My boss, Dawn-she has a friend who needed a ghostwriter. Dawn thinks I'll be perfect for it." "A ghostwriter?" Apparently I'd been reduced to simply repeating words now. "Yeah." Quinn tilted her head. "You know ...this guy wants to write a book, but he needs help. He has the story, but he needs someone to make it happen. Organize it, polish it ...make sure it flows. That's what I'm going to do." "Oh." I braced a hand against the wall, surprised to see I was still holding the crumpled chip bags. "He's a football player, actually." Quinn glanced up at me through her lashes, as though she wasn't sure how I was going to take this news.

This is a phenomenal book!! Great character depth and development! You need tissues for this one but a fantastic HELA that you question will happen throughout the book. This author needs to write more books!! Would LOVE to see Gia or Zelda's stories but honestly, I would read anything by this author

Blake

Blake

Not two seconds later, a knock came at my door, I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and turned it on, the brightness of the phone practically blinded me but I could still make out the 2:00 am and the Saturday written under it. I yawned, "Come in." the door creaked open and Blake walked in, I was too sleepy to be the least bit surprised, I noticed that he had on active wear. He turned away, "You wanna come with?" he asked, almost sounding shy. I smiled, the sleepiness I had was swept away by joy, but the words of our screaming match--well mine, "Well, I kinda took back my invitation, so..." I teased. He chuckled, seeming more relaxed now, "I'll be waiting outside." he left.

He had thanked me, but it was without his typical enthusiasm, and that’s what made me finally decide to pull him aside later that night; his real gift in my hands. I had given him a nervous spiel about how I tried my best and that it looked better in my head, before presenting him with it. As he examined it, I couldn’t help but be awfully aware of the uneven stitching. On one side, its eye was higher than the other, and its wing was at too much of an angle. I half-expected him to give me a thin-lipped smile with forced gratefulness, but Kiki practically leapt at me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ah, the dreaded writer's block. It lurks around every creative corner, striking when you least expect it. It's a condition often faced by those who wield the pen (or keyboard!) where seemingly no amount of coffee or late-night brainstorming can summon the ideas you need.

It's like your usual waterfall of words has suddenly dried up, leaving you staring blankly at an equally blank page. You become trapped in your own mind, with thoughts swirling around but never quite making it to the page. Keep in mind, though, it's usually temporary and there are always strategies to tackle it. So, procrastination and despair aside, know that every writer faces this monster at some point.
