Writing A Novel In November Novels & Stories

January arrived with grey skies and bitter cold. The snow turned to ice. The roads were dangerous. No one left the farmhouse for days. Liam chopped wood. Catherine baked. Doris read by the fire. Maple slept. Marmalade the cat stared out the window at birds she could not catch. I wrote. The novel was finished. Every chapter. Every word. Every secret finally on paper. Liam found me staring at the screen one afternoon. "You are done," he said.

CHAPTER 45 POV: Mia November arrived quietly. The specific grey of it, not the dramatic cold of deep winter but the particular muted quality of a month that hadn’t decided yet. Mornings that required a coat. Evenings that went dark too early and stayed that way. She’d settled into the rhythm of it.

So, I went back to the drawing board with this book, reevaluating the plotline and taking my time to figure out how to wrap up this story and give it closure. Yes, the story is ending this month, hopefully, the last week of October, but I don't plan to drag it into November. Regular updates will start tomorrow. This month is also my final exams month, so the pressure is there. I read all the comments about you guys not wanting a long story, and I am not a big fan of that either, so let's bring this bad boy to an end and move on.

I sincerely hope you enjoy it. This book is entirely and purely a work of fiction, the inspiration for this novel came randomly to me in the middle of the night on the 10th of December 2024 and a week after I got to work. I sincerely apologize to anyone who seems in line or offended by the scenes, acts, characters and ideas of this book. While writing this book and at the time of constructing this author’s note, it appeared it would be a standalone but time would tell as the book goes on.

Just a quick note to let you all know that I am going to be working my ass off to bring either multiple chapter uploads per day for the rest of the month. I am still incredibly busy however, I want to have this book completed by December (or New Year at the latest). once this book is completed, I will be taking a break from writing for a while HOWEVER I will be back with the third instalments of The Deviant CEO and The Outlaw Chronicles as well as other new books/works!

I didn’t set out to write something that addresses these issues directly, but they became a part of her world as I planned out the novel. What are your long-term plans for the novel? Without spoiling anything, there’s still a lot that’s going to happen to Charlotte Astor. I’ve planned out the story so it spans a few years, so we’ll see! Hello everyone, this Author's Note is prepared with regards to my previous about the new book I intended to publish. So there's been a change of plans and I've decided to publish a totally different book instead and leave the Yuletide novella for the holiday seasons. The next book has already been drafted and will be published this month, maybe on the 4th of April as a birthday gift from me to you guys, so we'll see how it goes. Just wanted to inform you all.
