A bruise was already blooming along her cheekbone where Lira’s fist had grazed her. He took her injured arm in careful hands. “Hold still.” He leaned in and, without warning, licked the wounds. Elara gasped. The contact was warm, wet, strangely intimate. She felt the faint rasp of his tongue, then something else, warmth spreading, tingling, numbing the worst of the pain. “What are you...” “Werewolf saliva,” he murmured against her skin. “Heals faster than anything human. Especially for mates.” He continued, slow, deliberate strokes of his tongue along each cut. The bleeding slowed. The edges began to knit together before her eyes.

Ryan replied. Reynard Wyatt’s eyes widened. Damn these cocky werewolves, he thought laughing uproariously. “Listen, boy, I admire your bravery and all but… You’re just a small man who took a wrong turn in the theatre and somehow wandered onto the stage. Don’t dare think yourself a player.” He turned glassy green eyes on Deloris. “You must be the warlock the albino was talking about. You obviously squealed. Too bad. Seen your dead daughter yet?”

I still can’t believe what Wyatt has told me. Tyler is a dormant werewolf, who because of Wyatt and Kane’s healing is now transforming into an actual werewolf. I knew that our pack possessed powers greater than what we could ever imagine, but this is something that not even I could have thought about. I can’t say that I’m not happy. I would take Tyler in any form, but I’m ecstatic that he will actually be a werewolf soon. I’m just hoping that he also gets his wolf soon. I wonder when we can start mind linking to each other.

William left Greco’s house after it had passed midnight. He still finds it difficult to accept everything after hearing it all. The only difference now is that he knows they are telling the truth. He is Lawrence’s cousin, the son of the former alpha of the yellow-eyed werewolves to a human, and he is the niece of the current one, Greco. He’s not a typical average person. He is a hybrid of a human and a yellow-eyed werewolf.

WHAT! I stepped back until my back collided with a window. Jacob jumped on Bryant, making him fall to the ground before digging his nails into his skin. Bryant and Jacob were fighting with each other, growling and screaming. My mind became blank; I don't understand anything, even though a vampire and a wolf are standing in front of me. Jacob is a wolf. A fucking werewolf? Why didn’t I notice that? My mind began to spin when Bryant and Jacob touched me; we fell out through the window.

Alpha King's POV Jack had found the place where the suspicious werewolves were hiding, so we must go there once. That place was called Haunted Ground, one of our important enemies resided here, they called themselves Sun Soldiers. They had caused a lot of conflicts among the werewolf packs. I suspected that many people in power in the werewolf packs were related to this organization, or were even the leader of this organization. If I couldn't get rid of all the elements of this organization in my administration, I wouldn't be able to sleep well.
