Selena’s POV Under Charles's supervision and care, I rested for a few days. My wounds had mostly healed, leaving only pale pink scars. Dr. Jonny gave me some scar cream and told me to put it on my body every day after I took a shower. I forgot to do this occasionally, but Charles would aggressively lift up my clothes and carefully apply the ointment. I was a little embarrassed at first, but it doesn't matter now. After a week, my scars faded, leaving only faint white marks.

Skyla's hand fled to her chest when she had a glimpse of his fully naked upper body. His body was badly bruised and had scars all over it! Skyla exclaimed, "I thought one deep scar might be responsible for all of this…" With that she lifted her eyes to gape at his blood covering the ground before getting back her gaze at his chest and then his abs. She continued in her mind, "But there are scars all over his body! It's impossible for me to conceal all of them! This doesn't look like an animal attack! I don't see any person would have done this much harm to me after all he seems strong enough to face whatever comes his way!" Skyla's eyes got teary and her heart got heavy on seeing the amount

Jocelyn’s POV The scars that lined Xavier’s back were the hardest. It seemed like his skin had been torn apart. The mental scars these scars left on him ran so deep I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to heal him. “Athena, I need your help.” I whispered to her. “Jos, they run deep. If we take them, they will not only scar us mentally as well, but it will be physical.” She whispered as well. She was crying from the pain Xavier had suffered.

As he did so, he exposed the skin from her left thigh to just below her breasts, covering all of her private areas as best he could. His eyes immediately saw what Karen was referring to. Just above her hipbone was a jagged gray mark that rose up to cover the bottom of her ribcage, its jagged edges flaring out toward her stomach and back. It was no more than a few inches long and wide. He noticed a darker spot in the center. A scar?

Two nurses came in and stayed nearby while she rested. Xena bit down hard on her lower lip. Then she suddenly lifted her left hand and exposed the inside of her wrist. Six old scars cut across it, uneven in depth and shape, ugly and impossible to miss. The nurses saw them too and exchanged a quick glance. They couldn’t help wondering whether those six wrist scars had something to do with Felix. Xena stared at them as if they were proof of every wrong she had suffered. At the same time, it was as if she were looking at a joke made out of her own life.

Zara burst into tears and covers her face. “I can’t do this anymore. It’s horrible. It hurts so much. Please. I need to be alone.” Ariadne tries to calm her but Zara continues to cry and seeing how traumatized and wrecked she was, everyone left her alone. Ari turn back to look at her to make sure that she was alright but she knew the scar inhabiting her physical and mental form would takes time to heal. At least if she wants some time to be alone, then why not.

But, the shower did a great job of cleaning the remnants of the road off me. I shampooed and conditioned my hair for the first time in months. I scrubbed the torture off my body, knowing that there would be no scars from the things that I went through. I finally understood what Xavier had meant in that truck. Sometimes, scars offer closure and affirmations. They become trophies of every battle that we survived. Werewolves didn't get scars unless the wound was inflicted with our silver.

"Shouldn't you say something else?" "Should I?" He patted his hair as he looked at her with a tilted smile. "Take a bath and I'll help you with your injuries." She said. "Imogen would heal it overtime." He said. "But there'll be scars..you shouldn't leave scars all over your body." She shook her head. "Scars are a mark of victories." "Not today's scars." She moved closer to him, "These are marks of distraction." She whispered and raisedd her brows, her eyes brightening like the sun. Xandros's expression darkened as he stared at her.

She whimpered again. "Stay still while I untangle it" he instructed as he carefully worked on the hair, it was a bit difficult considering the uncomfortable position he was . She watched him work on the button and tried not to whine whenever he pulled her hair, she wanted to give him the credit since he was trying so hard not to hurt her. She watched as he frowned at the button , his chiseled face was like a sculpture, he had thick and roughly carved brows she felt like running her hands on them.
